In Merica.....I've said this many times before.....the only ones to blame are females themselves for the above situation. Merican women and girls aren't interested in golf....likely Nash doesn't have a HS girl's team to play on. Women/girls should play in female competitions and men/boys should play in male competitions. Next thing you'll know....... we'll see Little Johnny being denied a trophy in ringette. Women again are themselves to blame why the LPGA is only a niche sport in the US...lack of interest in the female population. Yet...look at all the golf crazed Korean women.....the create Attack Girl fan clubs, attend women golf events in masses and are obsessed with playing golf...don't believe me...come to Van City and you can witness all the Korean women playing golf here...even in the winter. If there are white women playing golf here in the winter...they actually might be 'men'...just sayin. Oh ya....all those pink shirt guys should be embarrassed being clobbered by a skirt.

Brittany Altomare weighed in via text message on the Emily Nash saga.www.telegram.com/news/20171026/brittany-altomare-emily-nash-should-be-allowed-to-play-in-statesThe hashtag #EmilyWon has been trending on social media. The statement from the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) referenced in Stephanie Wei's tweet below does not refer to Emily by name, you will notice. In the Golf Channel article referenced in another tweet below they report that Emily's father posted on their Facebook page that her coaches knew beforehand she wasn't eligible for the individual title but kept that info from her so that she could concentrate on her game.

I don’t think she was ever competing in the individual event. She was there to fill out her schools boy’s team for the team event. She competes in the girls individual events in the spring.
I don’t mind a state high school league having a rule that you can only compete in one state tourney, boys or girls.
Everybody knows she’s played the best that day but you can’t win an event you are not competing in.
