Best ever? 12 of 22 LPGA tournaments, last four in a row. 3 of 4 major events (3.5 if you count Kang). 6 in the top ten world rankings (7 if you include Korean-born Ko).
Recent successful seasons were dominated by Inbee wins. But this year is a more balanced attack that speaks to the frightening depth of the Korean contingent. There has been a bit of everything. Dominating play by Ryu and IKK. Breakout major performance by SHP (which was almost upended by a teenage Korean am). Solid journeyman wins by the likes of MHL and Mirim and Yang. Continued success of rising stars like SYK and Ha Na. All this plus the re-establishment of Inbee. They are probably not done winning this year, as there are plenty of others who are due/overdue for a win or repeat win.
The tide has now officially overwhelmed women's golf in the western world. Koreans are no longer the invaders. They are the status quo.

It seemed they REALLY were rooting for someone else. (An exception : MW realized the daunting task of overcoming a 5-shots deficit with 9 holes left, and thus chose the practical, wise, conservative way when she opted to lay up instead of reaching in 2. Both disagreed with MW on her decision.)

(An exception : MW realized the daunting task of overcoming a 5-shots deficit with 9 holes left, and thus chose the practical, wise, conservative way when she opted to lay up instead of reaching in 2. Both disagreed with MW on her decision.) Wie is such a MENTAL MIDGET. If she had 193 into 17...she likely hit something other than driver for a par 4 into the wind...duh. Yup...everyone was laughing at her for laying up on a par 4. Inky a much weaker(strength) player, she was 197 out and went for the green in 2 on 17 and went for the WIN....mission accomplished. Wie also didn't try to drive the green at 13...at that time .....she was 5 strokes behind IK....Angel drove the green and made eagle. On the par 5 15th...looks like she also didn't try for the green in two. The gal is such a SIMPLETON. Listening to her interviews...it's LAUGHABLE she's a Stanford communications grad...BJ really greased all the Stanford gigi's to get her admitted and graduated. Yet...coincidentally in Akron, Charlie Hoffman's loop was trying to get Charlie to lay up on 16...and Charlie argued and said: "I'm three behind with 3 to play...I want to win this...I'm tired of finishing 2nd"....or something like that. Charlie went for it and hit to the back of the green in 2. Trevino also said...'laying up is for LOSERS" And let's not forget the 2014 FAKE KNC. Lexi was pounding her driver...Wie continued to keep the driver in her bag...after 9 holes...Lexi had a sizable lead...and Wie still keep the driver in the bag....what a FOOL. Why people root for Wie is beyond me...SMH.

It's been going by so fast I haven't taken the time to really assess it, but wow... you are right, it has been a historic year for the Sisters so far. 3 of 4 Majors with the other going to a Korean American. Almost every top Korean has won at least once, So Yeon is #1, Hye Jin Choi was amazing at the Open, Sung Hyun Park trashing the opposition in the ROY race, Sisters all over the Vare Trophy race (although Thompson has the lead)... Oh yeah, and Inky at last getting a Major.
And that's with Inbee Park having a sub par year and In Gee not having won yet. If those two start picking up the pace, it could be even more special.
Go Sisters!

Americans are barely putting up a hwait. Sad! And now one of their leading lights Michelle, is going to be on the DL for a while.

Because their cameras will be focused on Henderson's every move .

Season is nearly over and the SS are still over .500 (15-14).
At this point, it's easier just to list who has not won yet: In Gee, Mi Jung, Hyo Joo, Chella... it's a short list.

It's either a yellow skin black hair or white skin blonde winner on the LPGA nowadays...I think Carlota was the last brunette winner back at the 2016 Hana...therefore Gerina has no chance of ever winning....but she is the bread winner in her family.

I don't know it for sure, but In Gee's failure to sign a main sponsor may have a direct relationship to her failure to win this year.
It could be something like; they've a contract on hand but it's contingent on her winning a major championship.

It could be something like; they've a contract on hand but it's contingent on her winning a major championship. You do know that sucking on fanofseri's crack pipe is dangerous for your health...just sayin. Eldrick, Wie, the PINK ONE, Gulbis, Kelli Khehne, etc, etc all signed major endorsements without winning first on their respective tours. Dumbo is an attractive pro with a MAGNETIC personality and very popular...especially in Korea and has 2 LPGA FAKE major wins....it's UNBELIEVABLE that Dumbo is still front hat logo-less after 10 months...even Mannika who is long retired had logos on the shirt she wore in a recent pic posted on this site. This is classic Korean POOR EXECUTION at its finest. I see 2 possible reasons why Dumbo is logo-less. 1) There was a disagreement with Hite and Hite agreed to pay-out the remaining contract on a per month basis....if Dumbo gets a new sponsor...In Gee collects 50% of the remain contract that remains unclaimed. 2) As per Kylie, In Gee was agent less as of the 2016 KPMG...same with the LOVELY HYP...if Dumbo has since hired an agent...then they are PRETTY USELESS. If she hired IMG...they would have had a logo by last February. Nuff said.

mr3putt It's a waste of time to do scenario analysis with you; comprehension and logical deduction aren't your strength.
