www.golfchannel.com/news/golf-central-blog/chamblee-kratzert-rahm-should-have-been-penalizedThe Euro RO even admitted Jon Rahm didn't replace his ball in the same spot...and was not assessed a penalty....LMAO. If Rahm was assessed a penalty and with Rahm's temperament, he would have PUNCHED OUT the RO right on the spot...DRAMA. I guess we can all remove off our lists that Cheatin Chella will win Mr. Orange's event...Chella will have to answer the media tomorrow for two people cause LOOSEY LEXI will avoid the media like the PLAGUE.

You can really move your ball around the green using a poker chip. If he used a big enough ball marker he could have dropped it into the hole.
I mark my ball w/ a dull nickel because fanofseri said this is the most appropriate. Your opponent can see it but won't be distracted by the shine. I'll even use it when I know I'm playing a huge sandbagger.
Rahm should have gotten a penalty. He SHOULD know it was placed in the wrong place.
Mr. Chamblee is right again. Golf is lucky to have him.

Lexi is happy someone else got caught, takes the focus off of her. Hell when I play with my regular 4some, I don't mark. I just move the ball out of the way and move it back to the "correct" spot and putt.

I just move the ball out of the way and move it back to the "correct" spot and putt.1) It may take some focus off Lexi...BUT....I guarantee you...they media will hound her tomorrow at Trump's course ......what she thought of Rahm's ruling. Bobby K of Blue Giraffe will announce tomorrow that Lexi won't be meeting with the media this week unless she's hoisting the trophy on Sunday afternoon. 2) Really?...you play in the women's league Tuesday afternoon "hit and giggle' events.

OK...many here think the women's tour(s) are more enjoyable than the men's tour(s)...then why isn't there 16 hours of "Live from the Women's US Open" coverage starting this evening through to Wednesday evening?
Please explain...thanks.

I didn't watch the tournament, but I caught a few minutes of this guy talking to the press afterwards. He basically said that the judges should have discretion to decide if the move did in fact benefit the player, and that from the short distance he was putting, he would gain no advantage from misplacing his ball, so he shouldn't be penalized.
He certainly did not seem the least bit contrite about it, that's for sure.

Please explain...thanks. For all that extra coverage The Golf Channel needs sponsors, and most sadly won't shell out for a women's event, even if it is a major. The extra effort for any women's major doesn't make economic sense for the bean counters at NBC/Universal, especially this week since the USWO is on a rival network. It isn't just the level of coverage that is affected by the amount of sponsor support: the on-site experience is different as well. There are far more corporate tents, hospitality suites and spectator seating areas at the four men's majors than their female counterparts, and of course the prize money on offer is also different. In this day and age when both Canada's prime minister and France's president each appoint a gender-balanced cabinet, this inequality in professional sports in general and golf in particular is all the more stark.

I know to make negative comments about these lady golfers.

1) If not for the USO...the gals wouldn't be playing for a $5M purse. 2) IMO.....teams shouldn't be built on equality....they should be built on a team of the most competent individuals...not to meet gender, race, etc quotas...by doing so it's reverse discrimination.

Don't forget there are far fewer fans at LPGA tournaments so it's much easier to get close to the action or to follow groups.
