We have always suspected...the USGA are clowns.
They approved Erin Hills as a USO venue knowing one of the founders is a convicted wife beater/murderer. Supposedly ER has been closed to the public since Sept/Oct and with 48 hours to go...they decide to cut the fescue on some of the holes...WTF. The fairways can be up to 60 yards wide on some holes.

It's funny all the Wisco's on Twitter are saying "try the spotted cow!"
If it came from another state it would be just another beer, which is what it is. Cheeseheads.

Wisconsin has a strong tradition of brewing mediocre beer. Huber, Point, Leinenkugel, Old Style, Pabst, Schlitz and Miller come to mind. It's unfair that you single out Spotted Cow without acknowledging the breweries that paved the way.

As a native mid-westerner, how was Hamm's beer? They sponsored 1970 Minnesota Vikings highlight reel: www.youtube.com/watch?v=jLD8ot3u_d8Hard to believe Gary Cuozzo won 16 out of 20 starts during the regular season for the Vikes in 1970-71...he was a better dentist than QB.

Many Minnesotans are tormented by the "65 toss power trap" the Chiefs ran down their throats in the Super Bowl. My first sip of beer was a Schlitz. I was about 6 years old. I didn't drink again until I went to college.

Hat tip to G. Shackelford...he posted the link below, a fascinating article on what it costs clubs to host the "lesser" USGA events. The USGA pays peanuts and gets away with it. The IOC and FIFA must be envious. www.linksmagazine.com/real-cost-hosting-usga-event/

I still can't get the "Hamms, the beer refreshing" jingle out of my head. Its been there since the 1960's. I still drink it once in awhile and I think it is pretty good, especially out of the can.

Considering you'll drink warm beer and gawk at ugly white women at the Blue Dolphin...you think any Yank beer is tasty.

The USGA & Mike Davis are a bunch of CLOWNS...WTF...a 150 yd par 3 with a pin cut in the middle of the green and a driveable par 4 with a 3W...another WTF. Erin Hills is a major GOAT TRACK.....I'd rather play Whistling Straits and it's visuals.
