Dumbo conquered another unknown factor...the 8-iron was not hers....I assume it had a bigger grip, stiffer and longer shaft, etc. Per GolfWrx, Noh used the 8-iron below during 2017 Waste Managment Open Titleist 716 MB Shaft: True Temper Project X 6.5 The Px 6.5 would feel like a 2" x 4" to Dumbo....I think even 5.5 would feel boardy to her. These are Charley's sticks...I think Charley plays Modus 120 shafts....maybe 105....I'm sure stiff too.

The PGA most certainly could become more popular, and they would to a man benefit with bigger purses and more marketing opportunities. Whenever they get an actually charismatic player at the top, for instance, the ratings improve. Marketing 101.

The US Open and USWO are run by USGA; while the PGA and Women's PGA are both run by PGA of America. If I're Michael Whan; I would put all my energy to push for a joint US Open and a joint PGA Championship. WTA tennis has the same problem with LPGA; they don't draw crowds during their own stand alone tournaments. But they have the genius of having four combined major tournaments and another four combined premier mandatory events. The WTA winner of this coming US Open singles in September will earn $3.5 million; more than LPGA's leading money player will earn all year. They want to grow the game of golf; there is no better way to grow it through women.

The PGA tour had her there to help promote the event and the male golfer. The PGA tour sees the value in the Korean women. Their audience back home.

don That's an interesting point. If you're right; In Gee was requested by PGA rather than chosen by LPGA. No wonder PGA is such a success and LPGA can't climb out of the dungeon.

I still think this was engineered more by the LPGA to help them than by the PGA. If it were the PGA, why did she only get to meet with a few players? Where was Garcia, Spieth, or some of the many other top players?
She might just be thanking the PGA in the above clip for allowing her onsite, rather than implying they were the ones who caused her to be there.
The one thing that makes me think it might be the PGA's doing is the fact that it was a charismatic Korean player chosen. If the LPGA were responsible, you almost guarantee it would have been Henderson or an American (or at the outside, Lydia).

Eldrick is a dbag that many don't like....if not for he alone....golf would have taken off like it has today....now that the cheap arrogant One can't get out of bed.....the ratings and popularity of golf is flat.

If I're Michael Whan; I would put all my energy to push for a joint US Open and a joint PGA Championship. Yes, in theory, joint majors held concurrently, which are run by the Augusta National, USGA, the R&A and PGA of America would greatly benefit the gals. But in my lifetime.....I doubt the guys would want to play over a 2 week span to play on alternate days. Besides....even though the gals would obviously play on shorter tees.....the high and punitive rough they'll grow for the USO and a bit at the PGA Championship..... would be too punishing for the gals..... it might embarrass them. And let's not forget, the concrete greens at Augusta would be very difficult for 1/2 the gals on approach shots for them to hold with out the ball rolling several feet away from the hole. As we all the know...the guys don't need the gals to make their tour successful....if not for the money generated at USO they gals wouldn't be playing for a $5M purse.

In Gee sold the idea to the LPGA to help promote the LPGA tour, but Dumbo's REAL motive was to SHILL herself....it's been months and she's still has no logo on her hat. The LPGA then needed the PGA Tour's permission to grant any media coverage at Sawgrass. Remember all the warnings and then the 1 year suspension when poser, Steph Wei, did some unauthorized stuff while covering the PGA tour.

If the LPGA were responsible, you almost guarantee it would have been Henderson or an American (or at the outside, Lydia). 1) The reason why Dumbo got a pic with Graeme is that he's a nice guy and a fellow Srixon pro...did we see In Gee hanging with fellow Ping pro and GOOFBALL, Bubba. 2) I think the Entitled Cdn Princess was busy...I TOTALLY agree the LPGA tour would chose her to SHILL the tour. It's so LAUGHABLE and PATHETIC how the LPGA and you YANKS continue to FAWN over Brooke. On lpga.com this is one of their 3 feature articles this week....and the pitiful thing...is this is an old video that has been featured before. The Smiling Buddha is a Canuck and ya never seem him LATHER himself over Brooke. www.lpga.com/news/2017-brooke-henderson-returns-home-assesses-start-to-season

98% of the fans at Sawgrass would be clueless of In Gee....I'm sure they all thought that it was Noh's girlfriend carrying his staff bag considering she has no logo on her hat to demonstrate she's a touring pro....and I'm sure 97% of the fans at Sawgrass have no idea who Noh is.
The Good Doctor has given up on Dumbo....he should NOT have allowed her to carry Noh's staff bag...she could have injured herself....you'd think he'd guard Dumbo's SAMSONITE injured back...the guy is CLUELESS.
