We played golf one time at Blackwolf Run. It was pretty expensive as I remember. The course wasn't crowded but they paired us with some newlyweds. Before we teed off, I asked "Where do you play golf?" The guy said, this is the first time we've played. I said, "You mean here?" He said no, this is the first time my wife and I have ever hit a golf ball. We encouraged them but about a 1/3 of the way down the first fairway, the poor kids quit.

I blame this all on the Tiger Effect. Too many clowns out there. You'll see many fat loud dbags racing around in golf carts with a 24 case of beer thinking that they are now ATHLETES....pathetic. Ya rarely saw CLOWNS on the course in the 60's, 70's & 80's.

In my 49 years playing golf...I don't have any really good stories.
5 years ago, I played in a casual tournament...the clown in our group couldn't putt unless everyone marked their golf balls even though none were in his line or line of sight...IDIOT.
Last year the course was playing slow...so I asked a single behind me if he wanted to join up...nice enough guy but you could tell he was a shut-in. He walked off every single drive to see how far he his drives....lol...WTF.
