www.golfwrx.com/436396/michelle-wie-witb-2017/www.golfwrx.com/436408/lydia-ko-witb-2017/Wiesy plays some pretty meaty shafts....I didn't know Oban produces steel shafts...$75 MSRP is pretty steep for steel. Lydia plays some fairly soft shafts. I have always wanted to demo some premium real deal shafts on grass outside.....most fitters just do it indoors. I do know a guy who truly is a bomber and has some premium shafts...but they are too stout for me to even ask....he's had some House of Forged shafts.....some LD use these shafts.

Finding any WITB info for an LPGA pro is quite rare...and it's even rarer when it includes shaft details. I clicked on the WITB dropdown box at GolfWrx and the names are 99.99% men. I'm surprised they included the Rocket from 2013 (w/o shaft info.): www.golfwrx.com/119094/hee-young-park-witb/As expected, GolfWrx has nothing on MHL, but I do recall that her bag was not completely Callaway when I first met her in 2014. I had to go one of my Japanese websites to see what she was gaming during her 2014 Mizuno win: Driver: Callaway Golf X 2 HOT PRO Driver (8.5 degrees) / Matrix TP 5 HD FW Wood & UT: Callaway Golf X 2 HOT Fairway Wood (15 degrees), Adams Golf IDEA Super Pro (23 degrees, 26 degrees) Iron: Callaway Golf APEX PRO Iron (5I - PW) Wedge: Fourteen RM - 12 wedge (50 degrees, 52 degrees, 58 degrees) Putter: Odyssey Tank Cruiser Putter # 1 Ball: Volvik S3 Except for the ball, I think she is all Callaway today.

Phil As we both know...the LPGA is minor league.
A guy named Greg from WRX flies to.... I believe at least 35+ PGA events and if he can't make...someone else might substitute....he hangs around the putting green (inside the ropes) taking pics of players bags...he'll also ask the loop if he can take out individual clubs too. He's a REAL golfer...so he's also noting what shafts are installed.
They have a FAKE at some LPGA events...you've seen them...some white women who likely knows jacksh*t about golf looking at the players bag at the 1st/10th tee on Thurs....taking notes not having a clue of the differences of a TT DGS300 vs some KBS V Tour vs some Nippon Modus vs. a Recoil shaft....or a M1 vs M2 etc.
Many of the LPGA pros are not club ho's and know little about their own sticks. We've seen many struggle to describe their bags in the WITB vids on lpga.com
IMO...shaft is at least 50% of a club...it's so often overlooked.
They didn't even state that HYP's JPX 825's are the Pro version...it's obvious in the back badge.
For you anyone attending the upcoming west coast events....hopefully you can find out what model and stiffness of Anna' KBS iron shafts. I don't think there is another LPGA who plays KBS. I think Lexi is the only one with PX shafts at 5.0.
Nippon's are gaining a bit of traction on the LPGA....Charley and I think Tutta plays them....Modus models.

The 'stock' shafts in the 850 Forged were TT XP 115's a higher launching shaft than a KBS Tour 120 gm shaft. If you like them...you should offer $225....but I can almost guarantee you...they'll be gone by next week. You do know that Kim Braly (KBS....Kim Braly System) designed the PX shaft before he and his dad ventured off on their own and then KBS hired him. OK....maybe they might be junk cause they are made in China.....but aren't 95% of all golf heads made in Chinese foundries too. Make China Great Again! FIGJAM uses a KBS Tour V model...so they must be good shafts....lol. But I've read on WRX that some people have had issues with the tip bending when they tried to pull out some shafts. I 'stole' my 825 Pros with KBS Tour stiff with new GP MCC 4+ grips...I still can't believe I won an eBay auction for only $163 Cdn or $125 US...lol....ok....I paid $32 to have them shipped from Toronto.

I read on wrx that some of D.A. Points' clubs are Ping i5. Those clubs must be pretty darn old. I just picked up some brand new Ping g10 irons in Koreatown for $180. I know they are so-called "shovels" but they are quite a bit more forgiving than my Ping Eye 2's and they seem to go a little further. I just couldn't justify spending the big money for the Ping i200s when I'm just a 10 time per year golfer.

Glad you got some new/used sticks....yes...the G10's are shovels but far more forgiving that your Eye 2's....the Korean hotties at the San Clemente would have been more impressed if you bought the JPX 850 Forged w/ KBS shafts...oh well....looks like you'll just have to play hit and giggle golf with the white women at San Clemente. It's crazy how Ping retains their selling value...the Honda of clubs.
