That old photo of Yani you posted (she hasn't worn an Adams cap since the 2011 CME) doesn't say anything to me. If you want to use an old picture that matches your caption, this one from the 2012 Safeway is more appropriate: I've never been a Yani fan or followed her much over the years...I knew she didn't have a good 2016, but your post prompted me to look up her stats. Wow, I didn't realize she stunk it up so badly this year...12 trunk slammings, including 9 in a row. I know she can't find a fairway anymore, but had no clue she had dropped to 36th in driving distance. I remember watching her on the range at Upper Montclair CC in 2008. This is what I wrote in The Archives: Some words to describe her driver swing: beastly, malevolent, vicious, wicked...At the 2009 USWO, I overheard a guy say that Yani had to have her "soft" Adams irons inspected/adjusted frequently for loft/lie changes because she mashed the crud out of them. We know her confidence is shot, but has there been any talk about injuries in the last few years? I don't think so...seems to play every event she can get in to. Still, I wonder if her body is worn out from her brutal swing... ******** On a happier note, I didn't know until now that Mi Hyang finished tied for first w/ Lexi for most eagles(13) in 2016!

Ilhee Lee kind of brings back memories of Song Hee Kim. She would pile up top tens, until one tournament, I believe Sime Darby. Final round, top five she hit two balls in the water. After that she seem to have lost confidence, and played her way off the tour.
A similar thing happened to Ilhee. She was in top five final round, and hit two balls in the water. After that she also started trending downward.
Just a thought.
