I just watched my recording.
1st...I was upset it replaced what was supposed to be a Rolex Dinner Awards show....we only saw a glimpse of Dumbo's ROY speech....we should have seen the whole thing and also other award winner's speeches outside the Rolex awards. We also missed the GREAT Tom Abbott MC'ing too.
Some observations: Paige definitely has her GC sponsors just like Kelly T....Paige is not a TV natural....then again she's originally is a golfer....I do like PMac though.
Ron Sirak is great...it's amazing how he wrote an article of the Merican women's golf collapse...even before Se Ri started The Korean Reign of Terror.
Smiley Whan is a good public speaker...never lost for words....a classic sales/marketing guy vs. his clueless pinhead predecessor.
Cara Robinson is good...but too tall.
Brooke gets a disproportionate amount of attention IMO......Yanks just love her.

mr3puttCara Robinson can't do no wrong. Brooke deserves all the attention. She is a Caucasian, she speaks perfect English and she won 3 titles including a major before her 19th birthday. The previous Queens, Paula and Michelle, didn't win a major until well into their respective careers.

I finally saw this, and I agree it was disappointing. If I wanted to see a ten minute long discussion about Henderson, Ko or Ariya (ten for EACH), I'd just tune in to Morning Drive pretty much any week.
I saw all these photos of Pressel interviewing players on the red carpet. Where are these interviews? Are the videos anywhere? And how about the full speech given by In Gee? The only part they show is when she gets applauded for saying she is learning English. Like THAT was coincidentally chosen... And where are the speeches by EVERYONE ELSE?
(I recall last year they posted the whole Sei Young speech like a month after the award show, so I'm hoping they will do the same thing this year).
Next year, just show the whole award show, unedited.
