OK.....although it's not official...it seems inevitable. So who does Tina sign up for other endorsements?...let's hear it? Ball.....Titlelist, Srixon, Bridgestone, etc Shoes....FJ Glove....FJ Putter...does she stick with her 2 ball or switch over to a PXG putter Apparel....Swoosh, Lacoste, Cutter Buck, Adidas, Other corporate endorsements? I say her current loop is toast....I really hope Tina reads this forum and steals TMac. Dark horse prediction....before she heads over to the 2017 2nd Asia swing...Lydia announces she's engage...only to find out the engagement is off before the Hana cause the new groom can't agree with Tina's T&C's she's set-up in the prenup.

Ball: Doesn't matter
Shoes: Doesn't matter
Glove: Doesn't matter
Putter: Drop the 2-ball for a PXG putter?! ARE YOU INSANE?!
Apparel: Is there a single Le Coq Golf player on the LPGA? Landing Lydia would be a tremendous coup for LCG's parent company, Descente.
*******
I guess this story will finally destroy the myth the PXG doesn't pay to get players...no way Tina would let herself get low-balled for anything.
Tina should try to lasso Lampshade Herden for Lydia's bag...at least get him for the January-March LPGA events while the KLPGA is mostly dormant.
But, the 800 lb. gorilla in the room is still David Leadweighter. This excerpt from the 11/21/2016 Global Golf Post is pathetic:
Yet, almost no one who saw Ko on Saturday morning thought she would win. On the range that morning, Leadbetter grabbed Ko by the shoulders and contorted her into some position or another, a drill repeated on Sunday, much to the chagrin of everyone standing nearby. One former PGA Tour player who saw the warm-up said, "What in the world do you say to Lydia Ko now other than 'That-a girl. Go get 'em?'"

One former PGA Tour player who saw the warm-up said, "What in the world do you say to Lydia Ko now other than 'That-a girl. Go get 'em?'"1) Tell that to Ms. Pouty Face who for over a year blamed her poor play because the USGA took the 2009 ProV1 off the conforming list. 2) Yes...a lot of Koreans watch the GC LPGA feed...but when was the last time you saw a white woman sporting Le Coq?...only the vain Korean women whine to their husbands to buy overpriced clothes and plastic surgery ....heck...white women hardly play golf never mind buying golf apparel....it's a JOKE the LPGA ( a Merican based tour...LMAO) can't even open a LPGA store in the US...yet they expect to open up an additional 100 stores in on top of the LPGA flagship store in Seoul. 3) I guess Tina's on the phone to Wilson as they just announced the Triton won the Driver vs. Driver contest.....Wilson will need to sell a lot of drivers....the $500K prize is huge....yup...Wilson will sell tons of Tritons...Kevin Streelman...who? ??...is endorsing and bagging it...LMAO. So are you guys headed to Dick's and the PGA SS to demo the driver tomorrow?....lol. 4) IMO...it's TMac or nothing....he's does things quietly and competently....at the 2012 CN CWO....I saw him takes two steps to look and ensure Tutta's ball was tee'd off behind the markers...he's also loyal...never letting anyone know of Mannika's juice. 5) It's so pathetic what Deadbetter has done to Ko and MW and others. I think DL and Cally were a packaged IMG deal...it's only a matter of time before he's kicked to the curb.....I think Tina is on her knees begging Gilcrest...he'll make the Dragon Lady sweat for a while.

If you're wondering about Descente, Minjee Lee wears them (doesn't MJ Hur also?). But I don't know any on the LPGA who wear Le Coq.

1) According to Guy Wilson, Papa Ko is the real whip cracker. 2) I also remember reading a report from last year's CWO that after a day of poor ball striking, Papa Ko , to the surprise of even Leadbetter, dragged his daughter's butt to the range at the crack of the morning. 1) link to the quote from the stock boy...or it didn't happen. 2) Gil Hong is a softy...have you seen him?...quiet unassuming guy....not your classic arrogant and pushy Korean guy....I highly doubt Gil is a wolf in sheep's clothing. I bet the scenario at the 2015 CP CWO was Lydia wasn't happy with her ball striking so woke up dad to drive her to VGC (she' can't drive)...while mom and Sura stayed behind or to seek out some fruit and snacks at the nearby H-Mart....heck they could have been dropped off there and then walked to the course....I saw a bunch of Hanwha pros and their agent at H-Mart after a rd. Although the CWO offers shuttle service...I've seen pros rent cars and have seen Tina and Paul Creamer driving their daughters in 2012 and 2015. No offense, but are you saying you can tell a person is a "softy" and "unassuming" by just sizing him up at an event ? Even when you say Gil Hong speaks little English? Look, Tiger dad isn't a Bond Villain, dressing in a Nehru jacket, with a cigarette holder in one hand, stroking a Persian cat in his lap with the other. I have been a Wunderkind fanboy since the beginning and I tried to read as much ( in English) as there is to be written of her, so I am not going to try to find the link to a particular article. You can take my word as is. Here is what I can piece together: After the Wunderkind showed potential in golf at around 5, the Ko's decided to move her to New Zealand, for better training opportunity. As she continued to show exceptional progress, at some point the Ko's decided to up-rooted the whole family and moved to New Zealand. They don't anything to make a living, instead they relied on some sugar daddy in New Zealand, New Zealand Golf and of course money from Korean corporate laundered thru some charity organization. Which would of course become a scandal later on. Nurturing the career of her daughter became Gil Hong full time job. It was mainly the dad who took Lydia to the range at the crack of dawn, in holidays, sunshine or rain. Guy Wilson did not directly say he is the whip cracker, but he more or less implied so. He said Lydia was "raised to be a golfer" from a very young age and doesn't know anything else but to golf. Korean wives may be sassy, but make no mistake, the decision to devote the whole family to the career of a child is made by the HUSBAND. Does the story now sound like a cliche ? The father decide to sell his business/quit his job for his daughter's golf. I vividly remember something written by the Wunderkind, could be a tweet. It was candid. She thanks her family, but she specifically says it isn't always easy between her and her dad. That alone is quite revealing. Now Lydia is on top of her profession, I guess Gil Hong can take a step back, and let his older daughter arranges for the traveling and Tina to cook for her. But make no mistake, I bet it is Gil Hong that Bob Parson is talking to.

19-23 year-olds dominating on tour is a Tiger and Earl 1997-2000 echo boom. This is the first entire generation that started training when they were 4 years old.

"Does lydia live in new zealand at all?"
Well she technically did just graduate H.S. in NZ in like 2015. She might attend Korea University some in the offseason. She's "enrolled" there or whatever they call it when they give you a degree because you're famous. j/k
