In Gee became the first Korean to reach 40,000 followers.
Michelle Wie has been tearing it up; she went over 300,000 followers. The leaderboard is updated.

Michelle and Lexi are adding about 400 new followers a day; that pales in comparison with both Bo Mee Lee and Shin Ae Ahn who have been adding more than 1,000 a day.
The leaderboard on the OP has been updated.

Brooke and Lydia are the youngest on the leaderboard; followed by Lexi, Alison and In Gee.
No question, Lexi will be the first player to reach one million followers.
If I were LPGA, I would put all my resources to promote Lexi, Lydia, In Gee, Alison and Brooke. They've been promoting Lexi, Lydia and Brooke but have left In Gee and Alison in the dust.

Sadly, Muni (33,029) has passed So Yeon (32,255).
Muni is on the trajectory of Paige Spiranac (1,050,720).

With sparks from The Players and Kingsmill and with the support of non-Korean followers; In Gee finally cracked the top 10 on the leaderboard.
However, LPGA is no match for JLPGA. Hurricane Sharon have been blowing through Japan and lifting every one on her path; the biggest beneficiaries are Bo Mee, Ha Neul and Ai Miyazato.

Some allowance must be made to account for workout, swimsuit and modeling photos.
An adjustment should be applied to Wie, Thompson, Woods, Korda, Belen etc.
The real leaders are, after adjusting for the aforementioned.
1. Creamer 2. Ko 3. Pressel 4. Miyazato 5. Chun 6. D. Kang 7. Wie 8. Woods 9. Mozo 10. Lexi

I'll circle back once I develop the point and can articulate it better.

If we set aside Ai Miyazato; who is driven by Sharon rather than factors of her own; the hot list over the last one year are:
Michelle Wie Lexi Thompson Belen Mozo In Gee Chun Lydia Ko Alison Lee Danielle Kang Brooke Henderson
Nelly Korda (20.3 K) is the next up and comer; who's more followers than Ariya (16.7 K), Minjee (17.5 K), Brittany Lincicome (17.7 K) and Cristie Kerr (18.9 K), and is encroaching on Gerina Piller (24.7 K).

Muni has reached 43,259 followers; she will pass In Gee soon.
Over the last year, Muni has been the hottest American female golfer on Instagram; after Michelle and Lexi.

Photographer magnet and KLPGA starlet Hyeonjoo Ryu has been rocketing up the charts, too. When they announced that ShopRite Instagram contest a few months ago, Ryu was at around 22K. She is now at a shade under 33K. https://www.instagram.com/p/BU0-5aUjRbO For a comparison, top ranked KLPGA player Hae Rym Kim has 2600 followers. https://www.instagram.com/p/BR4EoMDgpci News flash: guys like to look at photos of pretty women. The Instagram stat is at least somewhat meaningless, especially at this low level of followers.
