Ayaka! She had a confirmed one-way trip to the parking lot, but went -3 on her last nine to earn a Sunday tee time...tied for last at +2.

Erika Kikuch(-1)...last year she had a swizzle stick move with her shaft at the top of the swing before beginning the downswing, but I don't see it now.

The VOD/streaming has been sensational; I hope they plan to do this for every event. To use the term "webcam" would be insulting; it currently looks like the regular TV broadcast.

Sky is holding on to a tie for first after nine holes at -6.

Ayaka Watanable easily reached the par-5 1st hole in two shots, made birdie, and she was off and running, now -5 on her first thirteen holes and tied for first at -6. When it's all clicking, she's the Dustin Johnson of this tour.

Blah....SKY can't close....bogey on the par 5...16th....and then bogey on 17 from only 120 yds....seriously???....ugh.
I thought Ms. 1/2 broom stick was going to hand Smile Candy a win...she nearly gagged it all up on 18....she doesn't waste any time on her putts.
That guy in the tent was so funny when 1/2 broom stick gal stuffed her 4th shot on 18.

And we thought the Founder's course was set up easy....this course played short and with no rough.....the JLPGA should stop more KLPGA pros joining their tour....they'd dominate.

I know it's early, but "Bo Mee-san" (that's what the broadcasters called her) is on top of six stat categories this year. However, she's not in the tentative field for the next JLPGA event...probably flying in early to prep for the ANA.

Standing on the 17th tee during the third and final round of the 2016 T-Point Ladies Golf Tournament, overnight leader Ha-Neul Kim needed another flash of lightning like she had in the 2nd round when she scored a hole-in-one on the par 3 17th. Instead of an ace, Kim would go on to bogey the hole. It was emblematic of a tough day that saw her go 2-over and fall from 1st (-7) to tied for 5th (-5). It would be Kaori Ohe capturing her 2nd JLPGA victory with a 1-under round that left her alone atop the leaderboard at 7-under. A solid top 35 player over the past 4 years, this is Ohe’s first victory since the 2012 Fujisankei Ladies Classic. She takes home ¥12,600,000 (about 113,000 USD).

Bo-Mee Lee

I missed Bo-Mee Lee’s victory last week at Yokohama, so I’d just like to take a moment to applaud another hot start to the season from last year’s player of the year. That marked her 16th JLPGA tournament win. She finished tied for 2nd here at T-Point, giving her three top 5s in three events so far, including a title and a runner-up. This is as special a player as I’ve seen on the JLPGA. With her game, her style, her star presence and megawatt smile, Bo-Mee should follow Prince Akeem and come to America!

For the second week in a row, Ha Neul Kim had a 36 hole lead and shot a final round 74 to finish out of the trophy. This time, she was one of only two people in the top 20 who failed to shoot under par.

Of course, she was only in the lead thanks to not one but two hole outs in the second round, so she had more than a little luck on her side to even be in the position to grab this win.

The good news, of course, is at least she is in the conversation. Remember last year at the start of the season, Bo Mee Lee kept getting second place finishes without winning. She wound up winning seven times. Maybe Ha Neul is getting ready for her own massive run to the top. Go Sky!
