I guess I jinxed So Yeon,by commenting on her swing.
She is one of a handful of players over par.
I could not make it there today.
Hope she pick up a few birdies coming in.
Top ten would be a miracle.

If Inbee doesn't shape up, Se Ri is going to have to convince her to step down from the Olympic team for the good of the nation. I can't recall an elite player who's game collapsed so quickly. She must be injured.

Maybe Inbee finally relaxed after winning the career grandslam. It could be a down year for her until she refocuses, if that's the case.
Pretty soon all the best American players will be Asian, too.

You'd think TMac would be able to obtain a more premier pro's bag...especially with Mannika's influence.

Megan is something else....very humble upbringing and very modest golf resources too.
Her dad is her only coach....he's a scratch golfer who taught himself how to golf reading golf magazines.
Think he use to be an auto mechanic and now a free lance gold instructor.

Now that In Gee and Ha Na have made it over Whan's "Awareness line" (not that he picks the featured pairings) I'll try to ease off this but Pettersen is just a joyless grump. I don't dislike her or her game but it's terrible television. At least Wie is blasting it all over the course so that's interesting. |

Maybe about 3 or 4 years ago .....does anyone remember a really funny cute young blonde gal who was in the booth with Brandel (Judy was either sick or taking time off due to her husband's passing).
She was fantastic...they should invite her back.
Oh ya...she was also a HUGE Tom Abbott fangirl....her family lives in Phoenix.

But I do enjoy Petterson's sailor's mouth and how well she can make some RO's cower.....now that's good drama. But the Euros pretty well s*ck nowadays and will be destroyed in Iowa in 2017. |

A month ago I was finishing golf around 5pm....5 teen gals were on the practice green with a golf teacher...yup...you guessed it.....all 5 were Asians....there was also one teen male....yup...an Asian too....The Smiling Buddha doesn't feel like a minority here in Van City. Last Thursday...I played with two 80 year old Korean ladies....4:45 hr round....it was painful....ugh. |
