I really like In Gee not only because of her golf but as a person.
However I saw Ha Na outside the ropes at the ANA last year. In other words I also like her. She was really nice to everyone around her. Even though some people interrupted her putting practice. I really did not see any thing phony about her.

Just kidding of course. I'm glad I can't read Korean so I don't have to relive Harding- Kerrigan. Good luck to all the players.

Of course, I didn't post the story about Jang's dad possibly injuring In Gee because I thought it was in any way intentional. Based on what I read, it certainly sounds like a stupid accident.
But Ha Na Jang's people have a potential public relations problem on their hands if they don't address this publicly soon. I was just reading the main article posted about Ha Na's win on a Korean web portal. The article was posted maybe an hour ago. It already has 145 comments, and a large percentage of those are bringing up In Gee. I've already read one where the person proudly proclaims himself a Ha Na Jang 'anti-fan'. (The anti-fan phenomenon in Korea is a real problem; famous people not only have fans but people who proudly diss them online any chance they get).
I like both golfers and hope this can get swept under the rug sooner rather than later.

Congrats to Ha Na Jang on a very impressive win. Any time you shoot a 65 in the final round, you really have it going on. This course may have yielded some low numbers, but it has plenty of places that could nail you if you aren't paying attention. Jang managed to navigate through the trickiest parts of the course like a star. It didn't hurt that she buried at least three ridiculously long putts this week. But perhaps the highlight came when she striped her second shot on 18 to within four feet and made the eagle. There was just no reason to take a risk like that, but it sure made the ending more exciting than it probably needed to be. I liked her funky victory dance, but it was especially fun to see her interact with the drummers when she came out for the trophy. The other ladies all had their moments. It was cool to see Na Yeon hit her approach on the one par 5 to within a few feet to set up eagle (but she missed... ugh!). Chella ended with a nice birdie, and Mirim may not have been playing her best, but she still notched a top five. And of course, Amy finished third for the second event in a row. So she, Ha Na, NYC and Mirim will all have a nice move on next week's Olympic standings. Not a great week for Inbee, but she did have a second round in the 60s today. Hopefully she's not far off from a return to form. Don't know when, or if, we will be seeing So Yeon get back onto leaderboards again... Congrats again to Ha Na Jang!!! Two wins already in 2016. That's what I call a great start to the year!

Some people are posting comments on the LPGA insta' too. If you didn't know the back story those comments really stand out. It's like... Go Girl Nice dance. Apology first! Terrible behavior! Nice win HaNa. How dare you celebrate?!

Michelle Wie earned $21,641 in 4 tournaments this year.
Golf is irrational, how can somebody plays it better at 13 than at 26!

Congratulation to Ha Na for the win. Not to crazy about the decision on her second shot to eighteen. In this game of golf, a triple bogie can happen anytime.
Kudos to Amy, Mirim, Chella, and Na Yeon for top fives.
Still bummed that So Yeon is not playing well. I will get a close up look at her new swing, at the Founders.
Great tournament, second place finish for Pornanong.
I have a feeling that first official LPGA win, may not be too far away.

Great tournament, second place finish for Pornanong. I have a feeling that first official LPGA win, may not be too far away. I've been saying that for years...but alas, no victory....the wait is getting unbearable...stayed up into the wee hours just in case Waen or Ariya pulled it off...I should have went to bed..look, I have to man up and congratulate HaNa Jang on her victory. She earned it. But every great shot she hit was like a punch in the gut for me watching. Honestly, I would rather have watched Waen and Ariya finish 8th or 9th than yet again come close. Sure, Waen played well and captured 2nd place. But at this point it's like watching the rich get richer with all these wins while my Siamese Sisters can't get one. But like I said...gotta man up...don't want anything handed to them...they need to earn it...when somebody else plays better, in this case HaNa Jang, the right thing to do is suck it up and congratulate the winner for being the best this week.

Well, I know she has a lot of female fans--not sure about guys. If WRX is any indication....there are a ton of male NYC fanboys. Especially that bravedave guy. In fact he told me that you were grinding him pretty hard up in Portland back in "2013" about his fancying NYC. You finally had an NYC fanboy in your mist and 3 Putt was determined to get to the bottom of the fandom. Yet still to this day 3 Putt, he doesn't get it. Fanboying is fancying on SS. I like it.

I thought Jang was a total phony and con artist from day one. So now I have an actual reason to dislike her. It would be a shame if IGC misses the Olympics because the Jangs are thugs. If she is complicit in the intentional maiming of Dumbo, a lifetime ban is appropriate. There is something truly wrong with you.

Dominating performance from Ha Na. She's in the groove.
One day Pornanong will finally come out on top.

The fun continues: the top sports search on the portal I check out is currently Ha Na Jang; the second top search is In Gee Chun.
A recent article says that In Gee had a MRI to check the injury (no word on the results in the article I read), and Ha Na Jang (or her agent) is quoted as saying she has told the Chun family that she is very sorry for what happened and that she is very embarrassed by it.
Another article I read claimed that there is a closed circuit video of the incident, although as far as I know it isn't public.

My only hope is that In Gee remains a good golfer that she was before the injury.
