I was out running errands during the early part of the evening figuring that when I got home around 10pm I'd have a long night ahead of me given how everyone said how close this three-way race had been running. Instead I turn on the TV (C-SPAN2 was simulcasting the CBC) and find that they'd already projected A LIBERAL MAJORITY GOVERNMENT and that Justin Pierre James Trudeau (depicted above with his wife Sophie Gregoire), eldest son of the late Pierre Elliott Trudeau, will become Canada's 23rd Prime Minister and at 43 years of age be the second youngest to ever hold the position.
Growing up an admirer of the elder Trudeau, arguably one of the most dynamic personalities in Canadian history and whose tenure as Prime Minister, while in no ways perfect, cemented his country's place at the table of world powers, I am now curious as to what sort of leader Justin will be. Every one of his father's successors, Liberal and Conservative, had sought in their own way to maintain Canada's good standing in the world, with the possible exception of the man Justin will soon replace, Stephen Harper.
Given all the criticism heaped onto Mr. Harper for his style and policies while in power the past 9+ years Mr. Trudeau has a lot of fence mending to do once he takes over. Here's hoping for the best for our closest ally and neighbor as they chart a new path.

Ugh....Dubya II (Northern Version). Justin doesn't come close to his dad's intellect.
Yup we need a government to decrease security, raise debt and taxes, create a Canada that is a haven for dope smokers, allow immigrants to hide their face and break Canada's policies and traditions at the citizenship swearing-in while a Canadian born citizen who has paid $100,000's into the Canadian tax system can't show any teeth or wear their glasses on a passport or driver license picture, etc, etc.
Oh well...have fun in 2016 choosing between Trump and Hilary....LMAO.

How does it not shock me in the least that 3Putt is a conservative? Hmmmm.....a liberal reply???....Hilary will be happy she's got at least one vote locked up. It was very humorous reading the infinite rants and bashing of our past dictator PM during the election campaign....lol.
