I plan to watch some of this. The USA should win, but I didn't realize that they won by small a margin at home in 2013, 18.5 to 15.5. An upset is not inconceivable. I wonder if they'll have a TMZ atmosphere over there...like pics of KPGA and KLPGA stars mingling in the galleries. Just as they do with the women players, the media hung out at the airport as the teams arrived.

This is a worse USA team than it was in 2013 and it's a better International team. If the Internationals are going to win one of these, now would be the year.

Huh.....is FIGJAM not making any money gambling or paying too much tax?...what's he doing in the main terminal....shouldn't he have some Sherpa lugging his stuff....did they repossess his private plane?...where's Amy? I think the Koreans will enjoy watching FIGJAM..so he's a good pick for entertainment purposes.
Huh II....I can't remember any time I was given a bouquet of flowers.

A little tidbit I just read: apparently this week, which is an off week for the KLPGA, In Gee will play a round of golf with former President George W Bush. I'm guessing Bush is in town for the President's Cup? Gives you an idea that her profile is really on the rise in Korea! It seems that His Illegitimacy, as I have come to refer to #43, will be the only President past or present to attend the opening ceremony. Park Geun-hye, President of the Republic of Korea, will be absent as reports suggest that she was not happy with her limited role, which she will now fulfill via a videotaped message to the proceedings.Kevin

Dumbo should be playing with Day, Spieth, Bae or Danny Lee.

I just finished watching live the opening ceremony and indeed President Park did show up at the very end to deliver her remarks and pose for a group photo with the teams. The cartoon they played during the ceremony which depicted representations of the team members engaged in battle with invading space aliens was an absolute howler. Jack Nicklaus gave a shout out to Se Ri and Grace during his remarks. SBS Golf also carried the event live and oddly it was The Golf Channel that was several seconds behind the web stream from SBS Golf, not the other way round.

This interview had to be given to the Korean affiliate. Choi and Pak's English are perfectly fine, and would have likely given the interview in English if they were speaking in front of American cameras.

Hmmmm.....a bit unique for a Nicklaus design....fade drives (5) < draw drives (6).

I thought the cartoons were cheezy...be hey...it's Asia.

WTF....Bae is benched on the opening day....huh....it's an exhibition....play to the galleries, Nick. The pairings on both sides are boring. BONUS...it's prime time here on the left coast. Merican wives/GF's > Int'l wives/GF's.
