Luv Sharon.....I stayed up until 230am PST to watch her win. The S. Korean are so funny and cheeseballs....lol. At the winning ceremony....did you see the old guy with the Ricky Fowler orange vest and jacket. Is this wedding.......corsages and throwing flower pedals...LMAO....Whan needs to adopt this to the LPGA. Who is the old lady at the all ceremonies?...the KLPGA commissioner?

The Rolex Rankings are really funny...Shin Ae Ahn moved up 61 spots to #118. Yeun Jung Seo moved up 16 spots to #119. So if Sharon doesn't win that playoff, she's still behind some player I never heard of before. SoYeonFan: Speaking of funny, you are spot on. I got around to watching the shortened replay of regulation. I take back my comments about Brooke Henderson being the Lexi of Canada. Actually, MSK5 is the Lexi of Korea. She's got wicked clubspeed...on any day, she could bury a golf course. But, then she starts playing like a dropped fire hose on the sidewalk. Jung Min Lee has a similar swing to MSK5, but she is much more in control (and she's not a short hitter). She looked good at this year's USWO and she wouldn't look out of place on the LPGA tour. I don't what her plans are for 2016...with Dumbo gone, she'd have a great chance at being #1 on the KLPGA tour. Anyone watch the men's Kolon Korea Open? It was a tad weird. First, I never heard of any of these players, yet the turnout at the 18th green seemed much bigger than what the KLPGA had. They had one of those big enclosed pavilions, while the KLPGA had a rickety-looking bleacher set up with bed sheet canopies. The men played at Woo Jeong Hills CC, which has been the venue for USWO qualifying the last few years. It's about 100 km south of Seoul...maybe there are more population centers there. As the last group walked down the 18th fairway, the crowd followed them and carried a message banner in front of themselves that stretched from rough to rough. Lastly, after the winner made the last putt, other players ran on the green and gave him a water bottle shower. I dunno...looks swishy when guys do it.

I don't know much about the population of sites that KLPG plays. Not a very big country like Japan in any case. Maybe the galleries are depended a lot on the tournament site.

I dunno...looks swishy when guys do it. 1) So how big were the JLPGA galleries last week compared to the KLPGA....I didn't watch the JLPGA stream. 2) Phil...are you some kind of Rain Man savant?....how do you remember sh*t like that? 3) So did they also throw rose petals on the KPGA winner too....lol.....supposedly Korean guys like plastic surgery too and I heard some wear make-up....WTF.

1.) I was so focused on the golf shots, that I didn't take notice of the crowds. After Lu won, SBS Golf cut back to their studio pretty quickly. However, I came across this video of the last three holes for the leaders, where you can see significant infrastructure at the 18th green: www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMpeijSgkUgFreeze the video at 6:31. Where was the cameraman? He wasn't standing in the bunker, that's for sure. 2.) It must be from memorizing baseball cards in the '70s. It helps that the USGA plays the same courses every year for the USWO qualifiers...NJ has been an exception, they've been moving it around here. 3.) No rose petals, thankfully.

Thx Phil. Yup....another proof that the JLPGA has larger galleries than the KLPGA. Heck....I think more fans attend a JLPGA event vs. the LPGA 'fake' majors...ANA, KPMG, WBO and The Water Company with a bunch of babies.

I can see why you're not a lawyer. Talk about inadmissible evidence! Jung Min Lee is still capable of becoming the top player on the KLPGA this year, especially if In Gee doesn't come back and reassert her dominance in the next few weeks. I still like In Gee's chances, though. The Korean (men's) Open is probably the biggest men's event of the year, so it doesn't surprise me that it had big galleries. In general, though, the men lag behind the ladies in that department (the KLPGA Championship is one of the most important ladies events, but they really fouled up this year by scheduling it opposite the Evian). As for Min Sun Kim, I agree 100%. She really has a hard time getting the job done in the clutch and on the greens. I recall the Pak Se Ri Invitational last year. Trying to get her first win, she was in a multi-hole playoff with Min Young Lee. She had at least three great chances to put it away and missed them all. Not quite Inky-at-Nabisco short putts, but pretty close.

You're like The Smiling Buddha's 81 yr old mom....she thinks that everything Chinese is the best and everything else is a distance 2nd. You can't accept the fact that Korea can't be the best at everything.....it's quite obvious the JLPGA has on average ......larger galleries than the KLPGA and likely a better tour than the KLPGA...or at least for sure money wise...no....not talent wise though Those Korean traitors of Ji Ya, Sky, BML and others who would rather eat sushi and drink Sapporo beer than eat kimchi and Hite beer....they all should be exiled to N. Korea.

No denying the JLPGA is a more lucrative tour than the KLPGA. I'll give you that much.
