Sharon Ahn’s journey with Team NZ came to a close between January and April of 2007. She departed on a high note (and notice the “new” name in the article):

NEW Zealander Shin Ae Ahn survived the heat to continue the Kiwi dominance at the Lake Macquarie Women's Amateur championship at Belmont Golf Club yesterday.
A member of the Takapuna club, Ahn started the day in third place but was a whopping five shots behind equal leaders Julia Boland from Tamworth and South Australia's Stephanie Na.
But the Kiwi was rewarded for her consistency and finished with a three-under-par 70 to be three under for the tournament and one shot clear of Na in second place.
Boland, who was representing the Pennant Hills club, had 39 on the front nine and 38 coming in to finish with a four-over-par 77 and in equal third place with Emma Bennett from Huntingdale at one under.
NSW Amateur champion Sarah Oh finished in style to equal the course record of 68 on the last day to grab fifth place at even par.
"I had no pressure on me at all because I was so far behind the other girls, so I just went out to enjoy it," Ahn said after making it three straight wins for the New Zealanders.
"I was actually pretty lucky to be in the last group with the two leaders, but I didn't really think I was a chance until about the 13th hole.
"I thought if I made a few birdies I could get close. I made a few birdies and it worked out really well."
Ahn was still even par after the front nine and made three birdies in the last six holes to steal the win from Boland and Na.
It was the third time Ahn has played the Lake Macquarie event, which is one of the most prestigious amateur tournaments in Australia.
"I always love playing here," she said.
"Now I've got to go back home [New Zealand] and wash my clothes for the next two days and then come back at the end of the week to play in Sydney next week."

Her comment on Sydney probably referred to the 2007 MFS Women’s Australian Open at Royal Sydney GC on Feb. 1-4, 2007. However, her name is not among the final scores (Karrie Webb won). Maybe she changed her mind about playing or didn’t qualify.

On April 4, 2007 Shin Ae Ahn teed off at Ora CC with 145 other high school girls in a qualifying round for The 9th Jeju Governor Cup Junior Golf Championship...only 30 players made the cut for the two championship rounds! I’m guessing this was her first big-time junior event in Korea. What happened? That’s the next post.
