A bit of a perfectionist, but have to give her credit. She can play!

This commercial is a joke just like THE annoying Rory Omega and Golfnow dinosaur commercials. "Positive attitude"....yet Lewis seems to blame her club, fairway lie and greens every time she missed a shot. "Respect for the game"...yet Stacy went public on social media that she hates losing to a lucky shot...ala Shanshan 2013 Beijing. THAT'S THE SPIRIT!! I can't find the link...but Lewis was getting hammered in the comment section in the GC forum on an article about Ko's win....some one called her an evil dwarf....but then again...it is the GC forum....lol.

You see Stacy blaming her club, fairway lie, greens after missed shots, but I see a perfectionist looking to see the mark on the club or the divot to see what happened on the shot. Stacy has said she regrets not filtering her comments after 2013 Beijing, but that is a refreshing part of her- not always giving bland, canned comments. And it WAS a lucky shot evidenced by Shanshan turning away in disgust right after she hit it, knowing it was headed for the rocks. if you're talking about Ko's win in Vancouver, hard to see where the virulent comments were warranted as Stacy gave a super complimentary (of Ko) interview before the playoff. Hard to blame her for not being bubbly about another 2nd place finish.

Hard to blame her for not being bubbly about another 2nd place finish. Say what you will, she is an emotional competitor. Always has been, even in college. Sometimes the emotion gets the better of the mouth... But I'd rather have that than someone who just plays, doesn't interact with the fans, etc. (not considering language barrier, since this is a SS forum) She's not perfect, but she definitely has game... And she is a perfectionist. In college, she spent a lot of time watching film of her competitions to see what she could do better. One teammate said she spent more time in the film room than the football team... Oh look! Another Top 10 by Stacy! - Bert

Bert, if you need a new Hog to follow, how about Regina Plasencia? Got any inside scoops on her or her teammates? I latched on to her at the 2015 USWO (round one) just as she started a big birdie run on the front nine and shot up the leaderboard...and then the inevitable crash started at #8 and #9, so I abandoned her! She's from Mexico, so if she qualifies for the 2017 USWO at Trump National/Bedminster, she and Lizette Salas will have to enter and exit the course via the clubhouse kitchen.

I've seen Regina's name a few times...she's pretty cute...so is Gaby Lopez.
I think Trump would let any Mexican gal play Bedminster as long as they did some housecleaning and lawn care after the event was concluded.

LOL Yes, Regina has had a good but not great Razorback career so far... Gabriela Lopez (also from Mexico) actually had a better season as far as stroke average and top tens last year, but Regina did win a tournament (Gabriela didn't)... Gabriela made it to the second round of the Women's Amateur before losing too...
Was really pulling for Regina at the USWO... Here's hoping her, and Gabriela's, senior season is the best yet...

I think Stacy is a more of a competitor than a sour grape to me at least. I haven't really followed LPGA after Seri Pak faded away until this year so there might be something I don't know.
