What a round for Lucy. 3 eagles to shoot a 60 😯 Lucy's round is even more remarkable than Ma Dasom; she shot -11 including two bogies. She'd a chance be the first LPGA player to shoot a 58.

We'll need a playoff to determine the winner, but in the meantime, let's give a shout out to Sei Young for her 3rd place finish after a 63 on Sunday. Hoping this means that Sei Young is back!

Is yealimi going to stick around and congratulate Lucy if she wins? We won't know the answer! Lucy will take over the lead of the Race to 2026 Solheim Cup but maybe Yealimi can stay at the second! By the way, Yealimi moved to CME #61; she's less than 15.0 away from Gaby Lopez who's #60.

Congrats to Jasmine on her win and great day.
Personally, I think what Ma Da Som did was much more impressive than the players here; that course was playing a lot harder. I don't think there was a par 5 set up to be reachable on that course for instance. This was another LPGA course set up with way too many easy holes. I mean, Suwannapura made two eagles today.
Normally the Koreans don't do that well on easy courses, but Sei Young is one of them who loves going low, and she had a great 63 to get to within range of the win including ... wait for it... an eagle on the final hole. Alas, if she had made birdie on 17 (she had a chance) she might have made the playoff, but this is the best she has played this year, so hopefully this will be encouraging to her.
For a brief moment we had a Jin Hee Im sighting, but she immediately made a bogey and fell off the radar. Was not able to hang onto a top ten and of course Saigo ended up passing her. But it was close, so she still has a chance for ROY if she can keep playing well.
Hwaiting!

Yealimi now has 8 top 25s in 2024 and moved up a slot to 61 in CME, with some good results in Asia, she will have a chance at the $4 million.
From Dow to now (on US soil) she's finished T8 - T14- T30 - T15 - T9 - T17.

I was rooting for Lucy to win in the playoff. But I'm cool with Jasmine winning.
I'm giving Maria Fassi the nickname of "Fetch". They keep trying to make her happen. She is never going to happen. Like Karen Stupples said, she gets too nervous when she gets in the lead.
