Shin Ae Ahn is having a good start, 1 under with a few to play. I guess she isn't paired with Hyun Ju Yoo after all. Yoo is paired with Min Sol Kim and Se Lin Hyun in the afternoon. Min Byeol Kim is having a good start at 3 under with a few to play. Top five at the moment. Go Min Star! Hwaiting!  |

Not a good round by Hee Jeong Lim a double one bogey two birdies.
I can understand if she was a little angry about the players that she was paired with.
I wasn't going to write anything about the pairing because Hee Jeong should play better.
But a five-time winner and two Majors in six years should be treated better.
One of the golfers' best finishes in seventeen tournaments were 22nd place and the other in sixteen tournaments best finish was 29th.
I still believe that someone that run the Tournament don't like her.
Even blondie Yaeeun Hong are paired with better golfers than Hee Jeong.

Nothing against these golfers because they are on the big Tour.
Just saying: Their best scores Shin Dain the five cuts, T40, T42, T50, T49, T22
Ju Hee Son, five cuts made, T29, T56, T57, T37, 61
My last rant about the great young golfer Hee Jeong Lim treatment.

With Hee Jeong Lim near the cut line at least four of my favorites are near the top.
Su Ji Kim, -6, Min Ji Park -5, So Hyun Bae -5 and Min Byeol Kim -3.

Min Byeol was great tee to green. They showed a couple of her shots. She missed a painfully short birdie putt on I think 7? But otherwise it was a good day. I would love to see her start to pick things up finally. She's way too talented to be in the basement like she has been.

I remember hee jeong lim played FLAWLESS golf at the BMW but lost in a playoff to Jin Young at the peak of her powers in the midst of her 60s streak. That seems like ages ago now 😞
That was also also the last time KLPGA players were at the event and the top 10 was split in half.

When Yewon wasn't playing well she disappeared from broadcasts. No one dislikes Im Hee Jeong as far as I know. She just needs to play better to get into SBS Golf's broadcast policy. The KLPGA and SBS Golf are joined at the hip. SBS Golf has to show more golf and less walking, less drones, and less banana eating to sell their product across Asia. They are in a rut. |

Awesome to see Lee near the top. She is the Chinese national who grew up in Korea. She qualified for the KLPGA the exact same way all Koreans do.
I hope she does well. She's currently 80th and she needs to gain some money to get to the top 60 to avoid hell week. I hope she gets into the top 60.
Wouldn't the Chinese media go a bit bonkers if she won an event?
