Here's a handy graphic that was published today in Korea: The first line is the total purses for the season for both tours; it translates to 9 billion vs. 18.5 billion won. The second line is the number of tournaments (13 vs. 29). The next line is the number of events with a purse of at least 700 million won: 6 vs. 10. I believe they also point out that there are three multiple winners on the KLPGA this year (In Gee with 4, Jung Min and Jin Young with 3 each), but none on the KPGA.

To be fair, though, there isn't a strong Asian Tour for the women. I know one exists, but it is not nearly as strong as the regional Tours. In the men's game, however, the Asian Tour is a strong Tour that gives OWGR points and invitations into certain WGC events and majors. With the European Tour having events in Asia, as well, there really isn't any incentive for the top Korean pros to play on the KPGA.
