First off, replace him with who? Secondly, he's fallen asleep before. SBS doesn't care. I recall two different commentators, one English (Australian?) and one from Canada. The Canadian guy is the one who does it more often. Yeah, well I am not really at liberty to say what I know. Anyway, prepare for it to get worse before it gets better. |

I wonder if they are going to have an English language live feed on YouTube this week? Last week they didn't have one, probably because they fired the dude who fell asleep during the broadcast the week before. But I think there's another guy who sometimes does it, so hopefully they can get him on board. I love having the option to watch that live feed at my leisure! First off, replace him with who? Not a lot of wins on the leaderboard. Other than Min Ji Park, the only players in the top ten with any wins are Gyeol Park, who won once a bunch of years ago, and Jeong Mee Hwang, who has one career win. A big opportunity for someone to break through. Also, most of these players are short off the tee. One big exception is leader So Hyun Bae, who amazingly is third in driving distance this year, ahead of both Shin Sil Bang and Ina Yoon. I don't know much about her. She had a t-5th at the Mediheal, but otherwise most of her results this year fall in the 20 - 35th range. Hard to imagine she's ready for a win, but you never know. Here's a video of her practicing her putting. Asked "How many birdies will you make tomorrow?", she replies, "Many!" https://www.instagram.com/p/C7YtYsJvShG Pity poor Sul Lin Lee. Late in round 1 she was at 4 under and on the leaderboard. She had an 8 on her final hole of the day (a par 5) to fall to -1, still top 20. Today, she shot an *86* which included a triple and three doubles on the back nine for a total of 47. Ouch, that's going to leave a mark. |

Leave it to Ina to find a way to be controversial. She was paired with Hye Jun Park and Min Kyeong Choi today and yesterday. Park dropped out this morning before the round began, and Ina dropped out after nine holes due to hip pain. Thus, Choi was left playing by herself.
Since the rules stipulate that she must have a marker in her group, Ye Sung Jun, who is playing in the next group, moved up to join Choi in her group. Presumably Ina provided the back up for Choi's first nine holes before leaving to get treated?

Hee Jeong Lim another cut missed, at least she didn't withdraw and kept trying.
Had a double bogey on her eleventh hole to drop to plus eight, kept fighting with three birdies.
I don't understand all the players withdrawing and cheating the fans that come to watch them.
It wasn't like the weather was bad.
Min Ji Park had a mixed front nine she would have a birdie bogey front nine.
Three birdies and three bogeys front nine but just a bogey back nine.

She's been in the Rolex top-75 all year, but did not apply for the USWO ... will the USGA allow her a bite at the apple on Monday after NOT wanting it before? Same question for Human ... and Yeah, Lee Won ... and Minji Park ... and Ji Young Park ... they would certainly improve the field over some of the no-name first alternates. |

As was noted before, Jeong Mee Hwang can always become a Model as a family member suggested.
I guess that she is tall enough, but probably never will happen.

Maybe it's a sympathy vote on my part after learning about Minji Park's medical condition, but boy oh boy, she's GOTTA win today. These other players in the top-10 ... they are NOT world-beaters ... Minji must turn this into a putting contest and make ALL her putts!!! Afterward, she should call Mike Whan and say it was all a mistake ... she really wants to go to Lancaster.
