12 KLPGA golfers have been chosen as ambassadors for the Korean Red Cross:  Gyeol Park, Hyun Kyung Park, Ye Won Lee, Ga Young Lee, Hee Jeong Lim and Ye Rim Choi were also ambassadors last year and have been chosen again. Jae Hee Kim and Da Been Heo were ambassadors in 2022 and have been re-appointed after a year off. The others are new: Min Byeol Kim, Youmin Hwang, Shin Sil Bang, and Hyo Ju Yoo. |

Youmin Hwang signs a sponsorship deal with RangeFinder brand R2G: This is kinda hilarious given the trouble she had with dropping a range finder during a recent KLPGA event, resulting in a rules kerfuffle. This quote is great: "The design of the product is so beautiful and the grip is good, so I am very satisfied". Come on, that can't be coincidental?

Sung Hyun Park signed a sponsorship deal with Hector Healthcare  I know what you're thinking: she's still playing? Apparently she is getting over a lengthy injury but plans to play at the Samdasoo event in August on the KLPGA. |

The Smiley-face bucket hat is no more. Amy Yang has signed a main sponsorship deal with Kiwoom Securities. She will have their logo on her hat and uniform. The length of the contract and other details have not been revealed.  |

Latest rumor is that Ina Yoon is angling to end her Hite sponsorship and look for bigger money. This article is perhaps a bit snotty about it. TBH this article doesn't really do much more than repeat rumors. But more power to her if she wants to test the waters! |

Rio Takeda signed up with Sato Pharmaceutical ... "Sato-chan" is the mascot of this firm ... is that an elephant she's pointing to? I don't think that headcover is another Dumbo.
