Pretty good coverage. Some nice camerawork, better than many LPGA events. Who needs talking heads...I prefer the ambient sound. It's almost like being there.
Ayuka Murata jumped up and down like Nasa when she teed off at #1.

Gonna turn this off and concentrate on LPGA and KLPGA broadcasts now ... Ga Eun Song tapped in for par at #9, but has lost two strokes, dropping to T-20.

I'm reminded of a story when Frank Robinson reported to the LA Dodgers in 1972 ... someone from the front office gave him a handbook on playing baseball the Dodger way. Rules are rules and Ga Eun Song is subject to them like all other foreign players ... but, really, requiring her to compete in a "Pro Test" is beneath her abilities. ******* The crude YT streaming for Round Three kicks in at 7:50 AM (Japan time) ... these players begin at the 1st tee: 8:00 AM Iron Yang 8:11 AM Momoka Kamiya 8:22 AM Suzuka Yamaguchi and Hinano Muguruma 8:33 AM Reika Miyako
9:17 AM Danlin Cai
9:28 AM Baba-chan 9:50 AM Babe Liu
10:01 AM Ga Eun Song Mini Ting Ting (71-75-146) starts at #10 at 8:33 AM, so it'll be a while before she passes by one of the security cameras. I hope they didn't make Jiyai Shin go through all this nonsense when she came over. I mean, former world #1 and all. I think she had already passed the "pro test" long before she first set foot in Japan, yes? By the way, is "Jiayin Song" = Ga Eun Song? I assume so because I can't find Ga Eun anywhere.

The leading groups have finished the 1st hole, so now the coverage has switched to the par-3 8th. The current top-20 cut line is -5.
Song Ga Eun parred the first three holes, remains at -6.
Mini Ting Ting better step on it ... sits at -2 thru 8 holes.

Now that it's over, can we go around and around again on what this means?
Bing mush is slightly better than Google mush on these names.

Hate to see the golfer that remind me of Mi Hyun Kim the way she set up to putts leave the KLPGA. She kind of favor Min Hyun Kim as well. However I hope she makes the JLPGA

Congratulations, you have passed the test and are now a pro. Be sure to let the KLPGA know so they can give you all the money you've earned the past three years.

Is it possible that foreign players are not needed since they have a lot of Japanese stars now. So they do the Protest hoping the ones that come over somehow don't make the top twenty.
The LPGA changed it's Q-School when the Korean players was winning a lot. Just a thought out loud what I been thinking

The LPGA changed it's Q-School when the Korean players was winning a lot. Just a thought out loud what I been thinking I don't think so - this event has been going on for over 20 years and the format changed this year. I don't ever recall Bo-mee Lee or Ji-yai Shin having to do this event to get there tour card. They went straight to Stage 1 or won an event which allowed them to play. The following gets you access to Q School according to google translate on the Qualifying Tournament, Top 20 of US LPGA, Top 10 KLPGA, Top 4 LET gets you straight to stage 1, both KLPGA players don't qualify under that rule hence them having to do this event. A waste of time yes - but that's the JLPGA for you! With a million view on YouTube for the final two rounds, You'd say it was worth it televising this event. I suspect with those numbers we will see the final Qualifying tournament in December being televised as well, that is scheduled for November 28 - December 1

I know that they have had the Q-School for a long time. I was commenting about the Protest change added year. Only a thought!
