I guess Hee Jeong Lim held it together after the two bogeys.
Had only one birdie but no bogeys.
Mighty Mite Seung Yeon Lee bounced back after 81 with a 69

There are 8 ladies within two shots of the lead, including 4 at the top. Hard to know what will happen; if the weather gets tough, it could be a war of attrition.
I think the gal I'd most like to see come out on top is Cutiful aka Hyun Kyung Park. I don't think we appreciate just how much she does for the tour. Whenever there's a marketing opportunity, be it Promo models or appearances in SBS specials, she is always there representing the tour. Every pre-event photo or interview. My guess is she does far more of that than any other player. I wonder how much else she does as well that we don't know about. But though she has played well the past two and a half years, she hasn't won. It would be nice to see her finally get a trophy again.
Interestingly, Park is the sole leader who is not in the final group. I wonder if that will help or hurt her?
If not her, I'll root for Chae Eun Lee, who really needs a good week to secure her card. Or Hee Jeong Lim, who has gone through the ringer, but I feel like Lim is back close to 100% and will probably contend a lot from here on.
Min Byeol Kim had a nice bounce back despite a bogey on the final hole. She is five back so it's unlikely she can overcome all those ladies to win, but a top ten would be nice. Bang is tied with her and Hwang one back, so the epic three-way tussle continues!

Gotta love Yu Jin Sung. It's going to be fun when she's here next year (provided they ever show her on TV, that is).
They didn't show the best part! After the shot, she signed the ball and tossed it into the gallery, who went crazy trying to get it. She's got such a fun personality!

Min Byeol Kim didn't lose any ground for Rookie of the Year
I can't believe that Hee Jeong Lim three putted seventeen.
Her birdie putt was just missed below the hole.
I thought that she had a good chance for birdie.
Ok she get a pass this time because she hit her birdie putt on eighteen six feet pass the hole and made it coming back.

Interesting how the three tied for the lead in the final group were not factors, while Hyun Kyung, who played in the penultimate group, was. Boy, if Cutieful wins this one she'll have earned it. She has given herself great birdie chance after birdie chance, missed most of them by the barest margin, and when she finally makes a birdie and takes a lead, So Young Lee immediately makes one to catch her. I was especially impressed by the putt on... 15, I think? She aimed practically 45 degrees away from the hole and it trickled down to within half a foot.
It looked to me like Jeong Mee Hwang was going to sneak into the playoff but she ran out of steam when she missed a short putt late. All three rookies managed top 10s after being afterthoughts most of the week.
I don't think I can stay up for the playoff, but good luck to Hyun Kyung!

You can't say Hyun Kyung Park didn't earn this one. Since her last win over two years ago, Park has had NINE runner up finishes. You can't blame her if she had just given up on winning by that point.
And even this week, So Young Lee was like a pesky fly that wouldn't go away. Lee even had a short birdie putt on the first playoff hole to win, but fortunately for Cutieful, Lee missed. The next playoff hole, Lee put her approach into the water and that was that.

A favourite local player of mine. I can see why she has the nickname Cutieful. Plenty of IG followers so is obviously big in Korea.

She's finished second to Hee Jeong Lim the past two years in the fan vote for Most Popular. No insult meant to Lim, but I doubt Park is behind Lim in popularity. Park is almost good enough to justify all the media and broadcast attention she gets, but it sure helps getting wins now and again.
