Yewon has been consistently great since joining the tour last year, and earlier this year, as she gradually took over the lead on the money list and Player of the Year races, it felt like she had established herself as arguably the best player on the tour and certainly one of the top three or four. But to me, this is the week where she has officially, no questions asked, taken over as the big gun on tour. If she continues to develop as a superstar, and I think she will, we may come to think of the end of the third round here as the moment where she made that transition to the top ranks. Up to that point on Saturday, she hadn't been playing all that well, she had some top players nipping at her heels, and Youmin Hwang, an even younger player with superstar potential, was making an enormous charge. These are the moments that separate the true greats from the pretenders. And she emphatically rose to the challenge: birdie-birdie-eagle, and what had an hour earlier been a contest became a laugher. She did struggle on Sunday, particularly on the back nine, and needed that cushion to get the trophy. But she still did not make the huge mistake that might have ended her run. There were several times where she might have multiplied a mistake into something worse, but each time she minimized the damage. This is another sign of a great star: even when they face adversity, they don't shoot themselves in the foot. Yewon told the press that her goal had been three wins this season, and she has achieved that. So she has a new goal: at least one more win and setting the new record for most money earned in a season. That record was set two years ago by Min Ji Park, who won over 1.5 billion won. There are five events left, and she says she will play every one in the hopes of setting the record. Another sign of a superstar: she keeps wanting to do more and more. Welcome to the Yewon Lee era!

One lone article was entitled "이예원 시대" Which can be translated as LeeYewon Era or Lee Yewon Generation
You have to follow her comments throughout the year. There are a couple I remember.
After winning Lotte she said something like she wanted to win one in the spring and one in the fall.
Then she later said something about winning a major especially KB after she won We've.
She pushed to win Hanwha and KB but finished 2nd both times.
She gave the media funny comments like I'll finish in the top 3 or top 5 before different events.
Park Ji Young commented how she wished she had Yewon's confidence.
When she ends up in the water or bunker she has no problem saving par or minimizing damage.
She has trouble often on back nines after she sees the leaderboards and likely puts pressure or expectations on herself.
