An account I follow on Twitter re-tweeted The Donald that said he was going to show up for a couple of the days.

Rather strange to see Lydia scheduled for the 2nd morning group, but it suited her well (66). The later starters will have to deal with some sustained wind gusts that just blew in from the west.

So "The Arrogant One" has a helicopter based in the UK/Europe?....I assume a helicopter can't fly over the Atlantic due to gas tank capacity?
I wonder if his pilot is Mexican?
Did you see GC trying to fish a reply from Lizette on her opinion on Trump....classic.

I'm waiting for Trump to talk about these "losers" from Korea who steal trophies from hard working Americans.

Back to golf. Good to see the KLPGA golfers Jung Min Lee and Jin Young Ko with good starts.
In Gee even par start is still durable. Great first round by Hyo Joo.
So Yeon came back from a three putt on twelve from about five feet and a bogey on thirteen. She finished with three straight birdies.
Oops, forgot to mention Kyu Baek five under start. Inbee three under is also close enough.

Round 1 Comments It's a pretty good leaderboard overall. I watched a little this morning, stopping right at that point So Yeon three putted from about five feet. Yeesh. Great to see she recovered from that and put up a great score. Her problem all year has been inability to shoot a good opening round, so maybe that bodes well for her chances! Speaking of great opening rounds, Hyo Joo Kim's 65 was the lowest opening round score at this tournament since it became a Major. Way to go! The jet lag didn't bother her too much (she played in Korea last week). The KLPGA golfers really brought it today! Great opening round by Jin Young Ko (-4) and Jung Min Lee (-2). In Gee had a really early tee time and got off to a great start with a double bogey on the first hole. But she recovered nicely with several birdies near the end of her round. She's even par right now, but is trending in the right direction and hopefully will pick up the pace tomorrow. (she certainly did better than the two gals she played with: Webb shot a +7, Hall a +2). She hasn't had a good history this season of playing well in the event following a win, but there's no reason she can't change that trend! Nice -3 by Inbee. She looked like she was trying to find her putting stroke when I was watching; guess she located it in time! Oh, and big shout out to Q BAEK! Nice 67! And good job by Lydia with a 66. Sisters Hwaiting! Hyo Joo Kim In Gee Chun

Belen Mozo was tied with Chella for most tournaments played (19) this season. Ji Young Oh was listed to play the qualifier (LET listed her as American) but her name didn't appear on the leaderboard. Maybe she couldn't make her tee time? Giulia Sergas (ITA) and Ji Young Oh made the Meijer cut. They were grouped together in final qualifying on Monday. Tee time before 9 AM.
