It would be ridiculous for Jin Young to fly from France, play this event, then fly to the UK to play the British. I know they sponsor her, but please don't make her do it, Samdasoo!

The New Ko is in the field ... Winbee puddle jumped for Samdasoo more than once, why can't JYK do the same?
Slight correction on the invitees posted by SYF - the Soo Bin Kim mentioned is an amateur. The U-Wash. dropout Soobin Kim is also in the field ... turned 30 this month ... made money in four of her last six events, but that's a LONG way from seeing her back on the LPGA (if ever).

Yep, she's playing. So we better not hear any excuses about being tired in Britain (or worse, skipping it). She must think she can handle it, but I have me doubts.
Surely she can tell Samdasoo to give her a break if they choose to schedule this event in the middle of two Majors that are practically next to each other geographically...

Hee Jeong Lim decent Tournament plus three her front nine, minus two her back nine.
Jin Young Ko even par front nine but three over back nine.
Min Byeol Kim five over and Shin Shi Bang seven over also had tough back nines.

Round 2 looking terrible for Min Byeol Kim and Shin Sil Bang; both are guaranteed to miss the cut at this point. I guess wind is not their strong suit...
Meanwhile, Jin Young and So Mi have withdrawn. Boy, it was sure worth it for JY to fly halfway around the world. I love her, but she does make questionable decisions from time to time.

I wonder if Jin Young Ko was forced to at least make an appearance.
There was something on her Instagram about her three year Sponsorship may be over.
Not sure which Sponsorship that she meant.
I wonder if it was like when, So Yeon Ryu left Hanwha for Ha Na Bank.
I think that Hanwha forced her to defend her Title which she lost to Sei Young Kim crazy back nine.
I don't remember if So Yeon switched to Ha Na Bank before or after the Tournament.
Shin Sil Bang will maybe have nightmares about the back because she was sixteen over.
I wonder if she is starting to swing harder.
Because the first part of the year, her driver swing was just like her seven-iron swing very smooth.
Hee Jeong Lim after three bogeys on back nine made birdie on eighteen to finish at plus three which should make the cut.
Mighty Mite Seung Yeon Lee, plus two also will make the cut

Tuned in about 90 minutes ago ... So Yeon Ryu (The Replacement) made her 5th straight birdie.  There is almost no one out here ... the threesome of Hong Kong, Spieth and Yeah, Lee Won would be mobbed on the mainland, but on Jeju Island, pfftt.  Congrats about those nice windmill eyesores behind the 12th green.  Scavenger Lee lost a couple of strokes but won't go away ... received some modest fanboy noise after hitting the 15th green ... and just made birdie to get to -5.
But, what I wrote above won't matter by Sunday ... it's a Human world and we're just living in it.
