I will come back to LA in one year healthy and healthy Some of this is a little worrisome. "I'll🥳 come back to LA in 1 year healthy and healthy." So she isn't healthy now? "it was really hard to hold the crying🥹 i will do my best until i'm playing golf". Youch, maybe she isn't healthy? Keeping my fingers crossed that she's doing better than this implies.

Ahead of the KLPGA season's main start, Rookie sensation Min Byeol Kim sat down with reporters. She is good friends with fellow rookie You Min Hwang, whom she has competed with for several years and with whom she trained in the Winter (they have the same coach). Her goal this year is ten top tens and a win. Pretty ambitious, but certainly doable if she is as good as she seems to be.
She focused particularly on learning how to hit low trajectory shots, as she feels that her weakness is playing in the wind. Kim is 5'6" and has "inherited the strong physicality" of her father, Pan Hyung Kim, a former member of the Korean national canoe team. She hits the ball with great spin and is known for her calm, unflappable personality on the course. I was looking through some old posts and came across this. Interesting to see what their goals were at the start of the season vs. what they achieved. In Min Byeol's case, she didn't get a win but had 12 top tens vs. the 10 she was aiming for. Plus the Rookie of the Year. I bet she feels like she accomplished her goals!
