Yeah, Lee Won has two birdies in five holes and leads at -9 ... per the course radar, came quite close to make four birdies ... missed 27 and 31-foot birdie tries by a half yard or less. I'd like to think the broadcast, which is 55 minutes away, will flood the zone with her.

I checked in on SBS app at 11 and there was a notice saying they would start at noon so the broadcast was an hour late today. Not sure why or maybe I was looking in the wrong place.

Since broadcasting was so late they didn't get much footage of Yewon's morning round.

I'm sure you know the way these broadcasts work. They have cameras ready for only about 3 holes and they use carts to move the cameras ahead to the next holes.

I remember when HaNa started on the 10th and had a ridiculously good final round they rushed a camera over basically just showing her on the ninth green as she finished.

They will likely show a LOT of Yewon over the next two days if she stays near the top.

You will also notice even in a group they often only show the one golfer they care about. The other two in the group won't be even on TV because they have become irrelevant.

I hope Yewon wins of course. I also want to see her win a major.

I prepared myself for a slump. I am shocked. she was seriously prepared to stomach the cold and wind conditions.

Compared to some of the other top golfers Hee Jeong Lee had a great round at minus one.
The weather has taken it's toll on the field, especially So Mi Lee who shot eighty two.
Han Sol Ji was two under for the round through fourteen holes, but finished with three bogeys and a double bogey.

Then she birdies the first hole. Anyone seeing that would be more demoralized.

No one is comfortable. They all seem to want to get off Jeju Island as soon as possible.
