Chae Young Yoon was at the 2022 Yamaha Golf Fan Summit on Wednesday ... Google mush of the above article's first sentence:
Yoon Chae-young (Korea), a “miraculous 8-headed beauty”, has been participating in the Japan tour since 2017.   
Will consult with her family about the future after finishing 77th in q-school ... says she still loves golf.

Rumi Yoshiba had a lesson/photo/autograph session at a department store last week.

Kana Mikashima opened a golf studio in her hometown of Fukuoka which will be operated by her daddy.

Two Ampersand staffers were at a Golf 5 event on Dec. 10 in Tokyo, long-hitting washout Rei Matsuda and Karen Tsuruoka.
Matsuda spent 2022 on the scrub tour for the first time (“It was hard at first because I didn’t have a caddy to accompany me, so I had to do everything myself”) and will return there again in 2023 after she bombed out of the prelim stage of q-school.
Tsuruoka got into 29 big tour events in 2022 and flopped with a 90th-place points finish ... later finished 65th in q-school ... says she will train for more stamina in off-season and work on putting.

From last March: Japanese Magazine ALBA had this spread about some of the glam KLPGA golfers. You will note that Ji Yu Jung, who recently earned a JLPGA card, is among the featured ladies. Guessing she will quickly become very popular there. link |

I have been Medically diagnosed with severe Ulcerative Colitis which extremely challenged my ability to keep playing the caliber of golf needed to stay on the LPGA Tour. It was definitely the most unexpected decision I had to make in my like, but at the same time it was the right decision knowing that I truly gave it all on the course every season. For all my fans, friends and Sponsors, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart and hope you will support me the next chapter of my life. Love Youngin Chun Good luck to a wonderful person, she will be missed and hope she enjoy her new career |

Congrats to Ji Hyun Oh and Si Woo Kim, who tied the knot on the 18th!   Sungjae Im apparently got married the day before. Busy week! By the way, the article I read says that Ji Hyun and Si Woo plan to move to Dallas and that Ji Hyun plans to take a break from touring for now. I sure hope that's temporary and this gives her impetus to try to qualify for the LPGA! |

Happy #32 for Sharon ... if this post reflects her lifestyle (just like all her past posts), I don't know why she even bothered trying out for LPGA q-school.

The Chie Pet attended a New Balance event in Tokyo ... she's more focused on trying to start a family than playing golf these days.

Vortex (whoever they are) is a logo seen on the JLPGA ... at least two of its staffers were at a Dec. 12 event where Reika Usui declared her eternal love for Bo Mee Lee going back ten years. 
Unfortunately, Reika's appearances in 2023 will be limited as she recently bombed out of JLPGA q-school.  |
