It's a co-ed tournament running under the DP World Tour flag ... starts Thursday in Melbourne using two courses ... Golf Channel will carry it. I count 113 women in the field, including SY Ryu, Alison Walshe, Gaby Ruffels, Genevieve Ling, Grace Kim, Greeny, Jennifer Chang, The Kup Show, JTibs, The Shinster, Karrie Webb, Laura Davies, Marina Alex, Minjee Lee, Minsol Kim(a), PK Kongkraphan, Prima Thammaraks, SJ Smith, Kempy, Xi Yu Lin and Yuri Yoshida.
Su Oh is not in the field, but with a CME rank of 103, I assume she's playing in the LPGA Q-Series this week.

I wonder why Gabriele Ruffels isn't at the Q-Series and also Youngin Chun. Is there another group besides the Leaderboard posted for the Q-Series.

Gaby wears a dunce cap these days ... but where was her "team" to prevent such a screw-up?

OK, thanks that's too bad because I don't believe she would have made the same mistakes as last year. She had a slow first quarter on the Epson Tour and had to play catch up.

The stupid Golf Australia website shows Round One scores for the men only. An article on the site says Grace Kim (66, -7) leads by two strokes over Greeny and The Shinster. The two courses are set for the women at par-72 and par-73. The men are playing par-70 and par-72 courses.
Minjee (70, -2)
Steph Kyriacou (-1)
Min Woo (70, E)

So Yeon had seven birdies but also had a triple and double bogey. It's seemed to be always something that goes wrong in her round.

Rounds 2/3 The worst thing about this event is being forced to watch the guys. I understand this is helpful to the women to have them here at the same time, but I find men's golf so boring and get tired of watching them constantly hitting out of the woods/hard scrabble lies/grass lined bunkers. And they definitely get more than 50% of the coverage. I am rooting for Min Woo, however. It's been particularly hard following the Koreans, in that they show so little of any of them other than Shin that I can't figure out how they are doing. Imagine my surprise when they announced that So Yeon had made a triple; they hadn't shown any of the shots that led to that mess, even though she's top five on the leaderboard! Well, gotta keep showing Kupcho I guess. So Yeon had a really strong round and basically coughed up her chances on two holes. It's not impossible she could still rally, but at this point unlikely. Jiyai was pretty much spot on all day other than that weird double. Would it be so much for Buhai to stop sneering for a moment? I predict she's going to win. Minjee just made too many mistakes; I think she might want this win too much. I'm looking forward to seeing Grace Kim next year on tour; she had some cute reactions when she finally started making birdies late in her round. Sisters hwaiting!!!

Julienne Soo got into an argument on the 18th green with playing partner Marina Alex, who refused to shake her hand/hug her. Argument on 18th green stuns fansI have thought deeply about who was right in this argument... Here is Julienne Soo: Verdict: Julienne wins.

The Shinster had a doable birdie putt at #18 to force a playoff, but blew it.
I watched the second half of the broadcast, on and off ... did they show JTibs (lowest Sunday round) at all? No pics on Getty this week.
