As length has increasingly been rewarded on the LPGA and other tours, the Koreans have been somewhat blindsided. But there are more and more young up-and-comers who are in the Ina Yoon mold. Among them is middle schooler Jimin Song, 14, who averaged over 280-yard drives at a recent JGAK (Junior Golf Association of Korea) event to win the middle school division. Song's hero is Hye-Jin Choi, and she is hoping to become the next young star like her idol. For the high school contingent, the winner was 18-year-old I An Cho, whom we've seen a few times at KLPGA events.
