Twenty pairings are set to tee off Thursday at Miyazaki CC, including Yuka Saso, Ayaka Furue and Shibuno Fever.

For the first time, the tour set up wooden grandstands ... they chose local cedar ... imagine thousands of people feeling the buzz this weekend ... Momoko Osato (far right) said, "When I stood on the tee, I could smell the wood and feel 'warm'." Serena Aoki (3rd from left) walked into the property the day before and said, "What is this good smell?"
This is the first tee ... wood was also set up behind the 18th green and the driving range. Based upon Japanese architecture, it can be dismantled and reused later.
