Starts Friday for a field of 96 ... top-50 plus ties make the cut. This is the last chance for a JLPGAer to qualify for the Toto Japan Classic .... top-35 in Mercedes points make it. Of the five players ranked from #35 thru #39, four of them are first-time winners this year. Baba-chan and Ayaka Tezuka are the two amateurs. Meanwhile, Ayaka Furue is dropping in to spoil someone else's dream. She's not in the field for BMW Korea, so this appears to be an extended stay in Japan thru Toto, then returns to FLA for the last two.

Regarding the Mercedes top-35 list, Shibuno Fever is #26, but she played only one tournament over there and trunk slammed ... why does she have 595 points?

Good round by Yui Kawamoto, five birdies and two bogeys. She needs to keep it going because the end of the season is near.
Kotone Hori had an ok round of even par, but she is close to the cut line.
Kudos, to the living Legend Yuri Fudoh a clean score card with three birdies.

Babachan was the only amateur to make the cut another trophy to add to her already overflowing trophy case.... she plans to play jlpga but her ultimate goal is to play in the usa...
i have not seen if she has college as a possible route... although the way she is playing now it may be best to skip college and enter the pro ranks asap...

Just making cuts isn't good enough for Yui Kawamoto now. She remained in sixty eighth place in both Mercedes and the Money list.
