It's a pity that Narin An ran out of birdies on the back nine, because she sure had her chances. On the other hand, she shot a final round 64. That's the kind of finishing kick that has been sorely lacking for the Sisters this past two years. It might not have been quite enough, but a t-3rd is still fantastic.
Alas, Hye-Jin didn't take full advantage of Thitikul being gone; she could have even overtaken her had she finished t-4th or better. But another decent week for her, an ace, and she's sitting comfortably in the top 20 in the world rankings.
Not much else positive for the Koreans; Chella made a nice run, as did A Lim, but So Yeon was stuck in neutral.
Congrats to Andrea Lee on her win. Very touching when she broke down talking about her halaboji (grandfather).
