Jeong Mi Hwang hasn't contended very often in her career. It would be a big surprise if she suddenly won. Su Ji Kim is probably the favorite; she obviously loves this event. But Yewon is actually in great position, just three back. It would be fantastic to see her finally break through.

As you say 30 shouldn't be the reason. My hypothesis would be mental. Stress at home. Bored. Stress from lack of success. Summer heat can sap strength and fortitude. I wouldn't want to endure the summer heat.

I guess Su Ji Kim  do love this golf  course, she made Eagle from the fairway on par five fourteen.
She took a two short lead because Ji U Ko who made Eagle from the Fairway hit in the hazard on fifteen.
Dropped Ji U Ko who had the lead at minus thirteen to minus eleven and Su Ji took the lead at minus fourteen.

She looked a little shaky or maybe nervous on the front nine,
But to her credit she kept her head up and rebounded on the back nine.

Good Tournament for Yewon Lee for solo third place.
She had her chances on the front nine for three or four more birdies.
But she left three or four just short.

Had to check Hee Jeong putting average.
She was in sixth place last year, but sixteenth place this year.
