Round 2 Feast or famine for the Sisters today. The ones who played well were fantastic. Hye Jin had a great ending to her round, including two eagles. Na Rin An has remembered that she's actually a pretty good golfer and leads by two. But Jin Young had another disastrous round. I'm thinking this isn't going to get better before the end of the year. This isn't just a slump; she's putting up some terrible numbers. In Gee was mediocre and is looking at a middle of the pack finish. A Lim is almost close enough to make a run. But Six and So Yeon are probably out of it. I'll be rooting like heck for the two rookies and hope at least one or two Sisters can get themselves into the top ten as well. Hwaiting!

MHL on Thursday ... currently sits at -2, T-68 ... she will probably make the cut ... there are two players at -1 and eight at Even who haven't finished Round Two.

Great, Jeongeun Lee6 made birdie on her last two holes to make the cut. Another confidence boost for her I hope.

Intriguing final group for tomorrow's final round. The top two Korean rookies plus the potential second African winner this season.
I didn't recognize the third player paired with tour winners Furue and Chun. Rookie Haylee Harford started out with a T51 in March but then missed six straight cuts. Naturally, Tony J graded her "F" in his mid-season assessment. But she has T21 and T25 results over her last two tournaments and is playing similarly here.

The Korean US Super Senior Open invasion won't start for another six years. In the meantime, McGill or Lindley must know impossible is merely an opinion.

Typical LPGA, they have the first round Score Card instead of the third round posted. When you check on how a player score card and their stats

Round 3 Genuinely great stuff from the rookies today. Na Rin was incredibly consistent. She just hit one bad tee shot but lucked out when it rocketed off a rock and avoided the water. However, the green twisted in such a way that she couldn't put her next putt close to the hole and had to settle for bogey. Hye Jin silently stalked her playing partner, making a birdie here and there until she got into a tie. She hit her own bad approach on 17, ending up near the grandstand, but hit a fantastic chip to a foot for an easy par. I like both of these ladies, but boy do I want Hye-Jin to win one and get that bit of business done. She is so overdue. I hope she can keep her eyes on the prize and finally nab a win, Nelly or no Nelly. Kudos to A Lim for moving into position to nab a top five. She has an outside chance at the win if the top players are mediocre tomorrow. In Gee needs more top tens this year. She's at 25th right now; it's doable. Sisters hwaiting!!!

Congratulation to Paula Reto for her first Career LPGA win. She got away with a bad choice of hitting a three wood second shot on par five eighteen. Why would she hit the most inaccurate club with only needing a par instead of laying up.
Well what else is new, Korean golfers giving up a lead the Final Round. Hye Jin Choi three, eight, five under first three rounds but when it mattered the most two under. Still she had an outside chance to make Eagle and tie the lead on eighteen. But she moved her head miss hit the putt and left it short.
Na Rin An had a couple of bad holes of double and triple bogey that killed her chance to win. Other than that she played decent with no more bogeys and four birdies.
A Lim Kim had a good round of five birdies and one bogey for a solo fifth.
A shout out to Sei Young Kim to tie the low round of the day, minus eight for a ninth place tie.
I really thought that So Yeon Ryu would start to play but not quite yet. Her driving average today was 229, that sure didn't help.

What devastating reverse karma I have ... the $3 suitcase turned into a Samsonite. Btw, I wonder if Korda Two and her Q Cells visor were queried about playing overseas instead this week?
**********
MHL picked up some grocery money this week ... T-50 dropped her one spot in CME to #141 ... she got stuck with Crusty and Lewis on the weekend.

A medal that cannot be worn around the neck ... Canuck ineptitude.

Round 4 It's a bit disappointing that Hye-Jin didn't seize this one. It was hers for the taking. But she just couldn't buy a break today. Even with her putting woes, she still had a chance on 17 and 18. Once she missed that short one on 17 I knew it was over. Yet she had an eagle chance on 18 that, had it gone, would have forced a playoff. But that was a really unlikely 60 foot try, and she was only able to two-putt (I did recall how she sunk that massive final putt at the KPMG to move herself into the top five, so it was possible. But alas, no). Na Rin was unstoppable for three days, but when it counted the most, she made the big mistakes. A Lim was too far back to start the day, but she played well to earn a top five. Sei Young needs to play like that when she's in the hunt, not just when she's too far back to win. Still nabbed a top ten. In Gee had another solid but unspectacular week. I hope she has another win in her this year, maybe in Korea? Sisters hwaiting!

KT always has a sunny disposition, but she lost another couple CME places this week (now #56) and is flirting with the top 60 cut line to actually play the tour championship. https://www.instagram.com/p/Ch1wYj4uRfk

A medal that cannot be worn around the neck ... Canuck ineptitude. That looks like a cheap commemorative coin, not a medal. I think I saw a Franklin Mint ad for that in the back of AARP Magazine.

If Reto would come putt for me, I'd break 80, two out of three rounds at San Clemente Muni. Sure it's only 6,000 yards but the putting is insane.
