Anyone know if she's played any JLPGA events?
Low am at the 2022 Bridgestone Ladies Open.
******
Baba the Giant will compete at the World Amateur Team Championship - Espirito Santo Trophy in France (Aug. 24-27) ... The Zhangster will also be there.
Now you know why she played the Bridgestone Ladies Open
Japan's other win - 1985, Michiko Hattori ... the old base on this trophy must have been retired.

She also played the US Women's Open this year and finished tied for 49th, I hope she plays on the JLPGA for a few years as there seems to be a bit of an exodus this year happening so they need some future start power to keep the interest going. At 17 years and almost 5ft 10 there's probably an inch or two of growth still to occur.

Baba's 11 & 9 victory was the greatest since 1961 when Anne Quast Decker won 14 & 13 (yikes!). By coincidence, that victory took place in the Tacoma area as well.
Anne Quast Decker won as just Anne Quast three years earlier and won as Anne Quest Wells in 1963. Quite a bit of personal history to take place over just five years.
