Small amount of good news for Ina: recall that Hite/Jinro had signed Ina last year to a three-year contract. On December 5th, Hite announced that they plan to honor the contract and will continue to pay for Yoon's sponsorship through to the end of the contract, which would be for at least the next two seasons.
Reading between the lines, this might be another small sign that they don't think she will be sitting around for the next three years...

A 3 year suspension is nonsense.

Ina driving a 240m par 4 earlier today at a screen golf center (using a 5 wood? Rescue?). She's like the Greta Garbo of golf: a photo here, a clip there, then a lot of silence. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cm8nsUeIgYY

The Ina Yoon fan page recently posted a video of Ina heading off to winter training (they didn't say where). So she's still working on her game, even though she seemingly doesn't have anywhere to play? I wonder if there is some behind-the-scenes negotiating going on with the KLPGA where the tour will "magnanimously" announce that she has been forgiven before the 2023 season starts in earnest in April? If not, where might she tee it up? It would be fun to see her play the Vic Open in Australia in early February. This is an event that often has a few young Korean guns in the field (remember when Ayean Cho contended a few years ago?). I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see her there. Vic Open field info
