It starts this week at The Club at Olde Stone, Bowling Green, KY. I've seen a scant few of these players in person ... Megha Ganne, Katie Li, Bailey Shoemaker, Tsubasa Kajitani and Katie Cranston are the most familiar names ... no ROK flags next to any of the names.
The link above includes Winbee highlights of her win at Echo Lake twenty years ago.

Seems like Megha Ganne has been a junior Amateur forever. Remembering she placed third at the US Amateur at the age of fourteen I think.
Since Fox don't carry the USGA Tournaments anymore, will Golf Channel broadcast it.

Megha Ganne DQ, I wonder what happened. She has played enough to know the rules. Ok Here is what happened
Megha Ganne, at No. 16 in the Women’s World Amateur Golf Ranking®, the highest-ranked player in the U.S. Girls’ Junior field, was disqualified when she signed for an incorrect score. “The player unknowingly signed her scorecard for a lower score, and under Rule 3.3b (3) was disqualified,” the USGA said in a statement. “She came to us shortly after realizing her mistake." The New Jersey native arrived in Kentucky fresh off helping the USA retain the Curtis Cup at Merion Golf Club. The incoming Stanford freshman also was the low amateur in the 2021 U.S. Women’s Open. This was her fourth and final U.S. Girls’ Junior. She will compete in the U.S. Women’s Amateur next month at Chambers Bay.

This event started with almost no buzz and stayed that way (I can't find one article on it at the Golfweek website). The 36-hole final starts this AM, Gianna Clemente (age 14) vs. Yana Wilson (age 15). Too bad Ganne needs remedial math at Stanford because she could have won this in a walk. I lost all interest after Katie Li got knocked out in the Round of 32 by Sarah Im. Im won that USGA team event earlier this year and will go to Vandy in November ... was eliminated in the semis.
Saki Baba was co-low medalist Tuesday (-7, 70-69-139) ... knocked off in Round of 32 ... was T-49 at the USWO in June.
