I'm trying to get more details, but it looks like there is some controversy in Korea about the behavior of some of the old coots watching this event on Sunday. This video shows one idiot saying something that clearly irritated the referee while Ina tried to do a drop, and another volunteer rushing to keep "fans" back. This particular video has gotten nearly half a million views already in just a day. I don't fully understand what they are saying or what happened, they might be blowing this out of proportion, but since a lot of people have commented and watched this video I thought I'd put it up and see what y'all think...

I have never seen this forum so ... so ... what's the word, excited, thrilled over a player. LOL.
I'm happy Ina won, but I'm not THAT excited.
She knocked Yewon down a spot on the money list. LOL
Yewon has three shots at winning a major this fall.
INa isn't likely to sniff at another victory the rest of the year. ^^

What exactly did the old man say?
I swept a few random chunks of the YouTube comments into Google Mush:
Ah, the elderly in Korea know that their age is a high pass that can do anything... It seems to be engraved in their bones that even behavior without manners can be understood and possible...
I went to the Evercollagen Queen's Crown Round 3 Gallery. It rained briefly with strong winds in the morning, and in the afternoon, I was very moved by the pros doing their best in the scorching sun. However, I felt that the gallery manner level was far from the level of the players who were improving day by day as I went through situations where I was frowned upon by some non-manner gallery people. When the tee shot of the player I support is over or a hole out occurs, other players' routines The sound of the camera shooting button and video recording button do not stop even at the request of the host, and some people are talking on the phone on the spot because it is not enough that the ringtone rings during green play... It got hot. Not only that, there are people who always say a word out loud in the silence and try to make the people around them laugh or the players who are playing, but it didn't look good at all. Now, I want you to keep in mind that golf is no longer a sport reserved only for a few classes and generations. Of course, it is a popular sport and there is no doubt that it is a sport that grows with the interest and love of fans. However, I hope that it will become a gallery culture that everyone can enjoy together within the basic rules and regulations.
In the days of Se-ri Pak, Se-ri Pak's father was a big problem. He did not hesitate to mobilize people to steal Sorenstam's ball, or even push him to the OB area. So, in particular, Sorenstam, who was the best player at the time, could not achieve good results when he came to Korea. No matter how much I think about it until now, I can't help but think that he is a very pathetic and mean criminal. Nevertheless, Se-ri Pak overcame and endured and stood tall as the best player. Se-ri Pak was really great...
That's why you should lock in 60+ at home.
Grandpa, just sit on the bench and eat watermelon while fanning..
Age isn't a shithole. You won't even see comments like this, but don't be crazy about what the kids are doing these days, and take a look at yourself first. An adult is a mirror to a child.
At the entrance, inspect people with dentures so they can't enter.
That's why young people hate the old people. I'd say that was a witty joke. When you are old, close your mouth and only open your ears.

Ina isn't likely to sniff at another victory the rest of the year. ^^ It's exciting for me whenever a new young player comes along who has the potential to be a great one, so I've been excited for both Yewon and Ina this year. But the reaction in Korea has been abnormally strong, and I report what I see. She has moved above 20K on Instagram and is adding hundreds of users daily; she was under 4K a few weeks ago, so that's a really strong increase. Every SBS Golf video clip on YouTube about this player seems to gather more traffic than normal posts do. A post there about people disrupting her play gathered over half a million views in ONE DAY. The post about Ga Eun Song's win highlights the week before had 50K viewers. Ina's had 142K viewers, and that was one of several clips in that range. Etc. It will be interesting to see how the KLPGA exploits/promotes her and how Ina will handle it. They need to let her develop at a proper pace and not make things too tough for her; she is just 19, after all. P.S. I can believe she won't win again this year, but won't even SNIFF a win? If I were a betting man, I'd rob you blind on that one.

May I put my two cents worth in, how many followers you have on Instagram does not make you a KLPGA star. Right now Min Ji Park is the best golfer on the KLPGA, number of her follower doesn't change that. Now if you were a K-Pop performer how many followers you have mean something.
Remember Hee Jeong Lim won most popular because of her golf performance last year, not Instagram followers.

Hee Jeong won Most Popular because she got the most votes on the KLPGA website. That award is not based on performance any more than # of Instagram followers is. Anyways, I'm not arguing Ina Yoon is suddenly the best player on tour. All I'm saying is that she has suddenly become much more popular. Her super quick rise is rare, so I'm mentioning it because it's interesting. Much like when Hyun Kyung suddenly became hugely popular in her second year. If I were the KLPGA brass, I'd think about pairing Yewon and Ina for the first two rounds this week. Would be fun to see a rivalry develop.

Let it go, if Hee Jeong hadn't been in the Spotlight because of how she played. She would never have been voted most popular. So tell me why else would they have voted for her. Hyun Kyung Park is the same person that's not playing very good right now. So she is being ignored. I will not say what I think is why some players are popular... fill in the blanks.

Not trying to start a fight, no offense! I just have a slight difference of opinion on this one. You seem to be implying that people only like Hyun Kyung because she's cute and only like Lim because she's good, but that downplays both ladies, I think. Skill leads to better results, but also more TV time, which gives fans more of a chance to get to like a player. But I doubt the people who carry Hee Jeong signs like her only for her skill at golf. There are plenty of talented but uncharismatic golfers who aren't winning Most Popular awards.

I wonder what would happen if the LPGA lifted its ban on posters and signs at tournaments.
