I've been absent since my last post from Arkansas as I was tired after the tournament - elated by Na Yeon Choi's two lightning bolts out of the blue to win but still tired - followed by the drive back to Memphis, the flight back home and then jumping right back into work. I have broken radio silence to open this week's PakPicker for the biggest tournament of the year.
Choose wisely: your Top Twelve together with up to three alternates needs to be in place no later than 1030GMT/6:30amEDT/3:30amPDT Thursday 9 July. Just for fun (in other words it will have no bearing on the contest) please also pick who will finish as low amateur. The Thursday/Friday start times for the field can be found here. Good luck!Kevin

This week's selections by our twenty contestants in order of popularity: those missing the cut are in bold face.[/b] 17: Lydia Ko 16: Shanshan Feng14: Suzann Pettersen, So Yeon Ryu 13: Na Yeon Choi 12: Sei Young Kim, Minjee Lee, Anna Nordqvist9: Cristie Kerr7: Brooke Henderson, Brittany Lincicome, Amy Yang 6: Morgan Pressel, Lexi Thompson 4: Paula Creamer, Alison Lee, Karrie Webb 3: Ha Na Jang 2: In Gee Chun, Teresa Lu, Mika Miyazato, Azahara Munoz 1: Julieta Granada, Charley Hull, Erika Kikuchi, Mirim Lee, Jenny Shin, Mariajo Uribe, Michelle Wie, Sakura Yokomine[/ul] With so many popular selections missing the cut everyone lost at least three golfers and some saw half of their selections turning in their courtesy cars on Friday. Five of the top seven PakPickers on Friday evening were among the seven who selected Amy Yang. The difference maker was Michelle Wie, chosen solely by baggerbob, giving him six scoring selections and the 36 hole lead. With Sei Young Kim and Karrie Webb going the wrong direction on moving day there was a slight shakeup in the standings. Baggerbob continued to lead with six scoring selections.Scores went up overall thanks to Lydia sneaking into the Table, but it was Brooke who also contributed. Centurion was one of just two contestants who had winner In Gee Chun on his card, but he picked her 12th. He lands the bronze medal position this week behind a surging olamin, but it is baggerbob who goes wire to wire to snag his second win of the season, leading with seven scoring selections. Blue was on the podium after 36 holes but his fortunes took a dive when Karrie and Sei Young faded and with just three scoring selections he has the misfortune of collecting this week's wooden spoon.Elf is now up as host as the some of the ladies move on to Toledo this week for the Marathon Classic opposite the men's Open Championship at St Andrews. My next turn in the scoring tent will be the next major, the Women's British Open at Turnberry. Have a good week, everyone!Kevin
