Round 3: Hyo Joo Kim Scores Win
Hyo Joo Kim started the day with a three shot lead. She did not have a super smooth round on day three, however, and stuck close to par most of the day.
This gave some of her opponents a chance to make a move, and several did. Shanshan Feng started the day 8 back, but moved to within 2 at one point. But she faded on the back nine, finishing at 6 under.
Meanwhile, Han Sul Ji, who started the day second, had a bad day, falling down the leaderboard.
This left Ha Na Jang as the last player who could challenge Kim. Playing in the final group with the leader, last week's winner rallied early, but also fell back by the end, winding up at 3 under total after a 75.
And so, despite not having her best stuff, Kim had little trouble collecting her third straight win in China. She shot an even par 72 for a four shot win.
Hyo Joo Kim has already won twice on the KLPGA tour in 2015 despite only playing four events. Not a bad win percentage! Congrats to her!
