The three players I'm most excited about are A Lim, Yewon and Ga Young Lee. For Yewon, she's starting to get more comfortable in these intense situations. She still has an outside chance of winning, but as long as she manages a good round and a top finish in her first Major as a member, that would be amazing. A Lim can use the boost of confidence a win would get her, to remind her just what a great player she is and can be. And of course, we are still waiting for the flood gates to open with Ga Young, the best player on tour not to have won already.
Sisters hwaiting!!!

Ouch, the 9th hole has been abusing the star rookies. Ina Yoon had four birdies on the front but hit the water twice on nine for a triple. Yewon landed in the greenside bunker, hit out and over the green, pitched on and three putted. Wins looks out of the question at this point but they both have a shot at top tens. Hwaiting!

Hyo Joo Kim group got put on the clock and seem to up set her timing. She missed a short bogey putt on eleven and had a disaster triple bogey on fourteen. I wanted a KLPGA player to catch Hyo Joo but not that way. It looks like a LPGA player is going to win anyway. Ga Young Lee just made bogey to give A Lim a two shot lead.
Edit: ok it's over A Lim just knocked in a very long putt for birdie on sixteen.
I see why Seung Yeon Lee have trouble scoring, she just missed a short birdie on fifteen. She gets to fidgety under pressure, still a top five is good for her. I really didn't expect her to win, so it's all good.

Wow, Hyo Joo just fell apart over several holes. Some of those misses had to have come from shellshock. Feel sorry for her!

It seems Hyun Kyung got a t-10 result thanks to a "shot eagle" on 16 this afternoon otherwise a pretty forgettable round.

Ga Young Lee got to eleven under through twelve holes. But made bogey on fourteen and sixteen and failed to make birdie on fifteen. Still a second place finish is great.
Mighty Mite Seung Yeon Lee had five bogeys and one birdie. She missed some short birdie and par chances. Other than that a great Tournament for her.

Did anyone else watch the final round? Other than A Lim, it was a huge train wreck for everyone. Course must have been playing tough. Hyo Joo started making small mistakes, but by the triple she was hitting from bunker to bunker, missing short putts, and in general seemed completely kaput. I've rarely seen a major talent collapse like that. Even Lee6 at Evian rebounded during her final round collapse. With all due respect to her sister, I wonder if this would have happened had she had a real caddie on her bag to focus her? The putt below was electric. A Lim totally deserved this win. I hope she can bring this back to the States, because we need this energy on the LPGA:

I read an article about Hyo Joo. This was the only Major she hadn't won on the KLPGA, so she's pretty disappointed. But she still signed autographs and posed for nearly 100 fans after the round. She said, 'sometimes golf is like that', and prepared herself for future successes.

That putt by A Lim on 16 was glorious - even better was her body language and reaction. You see some of that from her on the LPGA, but not nearly enough (although she rarely gets on camera, so who knows). I also hope she can bottle these feelings and confidence and unlease it on the LPGA now. She's talked about how her game has been coming around recently, and she's in better shape, so maybe we'll see it.
"I was able to freely use the trajectory, and I was able to hit draw and fade shots as I wanted. After entering the US last year, I learned while watching the plays of Jinyoung Ko (27) and Nelly Corda (USA)."
A Lim playing like she did this week in Korea on the LPGA would win her a ton of fans, I bet. A few wins would do wonders too.
