Two rounds in the books and no pics of Su Yeon Jang .... STOP HATING!!! So she threw a lot of garbage in the air on Friday ... well, someone has to do it now that Unlucky Five is playing the LPGA. Check the stats ... for the 10 greens she hit, her average distance to the hole was 4.5 yards, which was better than what a whole bunch of other top-10 players did.
I made a stab at seeing if she has an IG account ... didn't find one, probably doesn't have one, she doesn't care, nobody cares ... she'll just hustle you out of your wallet if you're careless. If I recall correctly, she was the am who fired her daddy's azz off her bag for setting it down within view of a chip shot ... KLPGA rules official called it a visual/directional aid and penalized her.

I've been watching to see if Ina Yoon is the long bomber I think she is. After two events she leads the KLPGA in driving distance with a shade under 261 y average. For comparison, A Lim Kim's 2019 average was 262 yards.
Some of her longer drives this week (according to the stats on the leaderboard; who know how wind-aided or whatever these are): Hole 3: 347 yards (!!!) Hole 5: 275.6 y Hole 9: 273 y Hole 11: 280.7 y Hole 14: 288 y Hole 16: 282 y Hole 18: 289 y
Hole 3 seems to be the power hole; perhaps downwind or downhill? Some other players on that hole: Da Som Ma (R): 299y Sun Ju Ahn: 289 y Yewon Lee (R): 300.9 y Ye Been Sohn (R): 303 y Jeongmin Moon (R) (currently ranked third in driving distance): 307 y Ji Hyun Oh: 285 Hyun Kyung Park: 287 Hae Ran Ryu: 310 y
Looks like there are a few long hitters among the rookies!

I missed that Mighty Mite Seung Yeon Lee is tied for ninth at minus five. She must love this Tournament her one win was here in 2019.

The 11th is also one many are recording massive distance on. KLPGA website leaderboard gives Ina 345.7 in R1, nearly drove the green. Big downhill, dogleg par 4. Then only 280 in R2, but obviously aiming for the fairway. Hard to get a read on how long she actually is, as you indicate. Her average of 260 or so seems right, perhaps. Hyun Kyung was recorded at 301 in R1 on that same 11th hole.

Along with the usual stream, SBS has been doing Eng commentary every tournament so far this year. R3 here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BWH80nGJHYBut if you skip the Korean stream, you miss out on two new commercials with Hyo Joo; guess she's been working since she won Lotte! Pretty good crowd out there today.

I only got to watch the Broadcast for about an hour. There were a lot of low scores. Hee Jeong Lim had a so, so day with two birdies one bogey. That's ok it's her first Tournament on KLPGA this year.
Mighty Mite Seung Yeon Lee had another really good round.

Sunday's first pic of Hong Kong Rabbit ... crown me.
She and Lim should be smuggled into Japan for the Bridgestone Ladies Open ... the only problem is that one of them might win it.

Nice pic of HK - seems like she's had that bandage/tape-thingy on her knee forever. What's up with that?
Seems like Hae Ran's got this one. Start of a big year (Minji-like) for her, perhaps. fanofseri will be pleased.

Nexen is a huge company and a big-time tire brand, but I don't see them as the main sponsor for anyone on this tournament's player roster. Is there a single player that uses the Saint Nine ball on this tour? They have three urethane products these days. Even Honma was able to get one or two KLPGAers to use its ball about ten years ago. Don't they know Charlie Rymer plugs the Saint Nine ball on YouTube?

Please, those Hyun Kyung pictures are too cute. Stop Stop. I'm sure the bandage on her knee is to help her swing and prevent injury. She's fine. Come on. Make some good approach shots and get another t10 please.
