So, does So Mi take up her option and play next week? I'd do it if I were her.
Among the Swing Girls, we've had at least four top tens in LPGA events: So Mi twice (here and at the 19 BMW), Ayean at the Aussie Open in 2020, and Lim at the 21 BMW. Hyun Kyung hasn't had one yet. So: any predictions which one gets the first LPGA win? I have to say, I don't think So Mi is the best of them, but she seems really comfortable in contention, doesn't she?

So Mi Lee is better than all of them, she just needs to quit missing short putts.
It nothing that she just started to do she has done it for a while.

Is this the first time that the winner of an LPGA event has not been interviewed ? I cant seem to find anything on the LPGA website for her victory interview  |

Jerry did talk to her with a translator. He asked one question, and the translator struggled a little, and that was it. But they did interview her, at least on the broadcast.

From her social media, seems like So Mi went back to Korea. Strange that she wouldn't take the opportunity to play another LPGA event, but maybe she has commitments back home. Missing out on another potentially big payday. Could be she wants to be fresh (& not jetlagged) for the KLPGA Championship? I pick Hee Jeong for a first LPGA win - although So Mi was mighty impressive last week. |
