Starts Friday for a field of 108 ... cut is top-50 plus ties. Seonwoo Bae and Kotono Kozuma will make their first starts of 2022.
I'll keep posting tournament character strings for rogue videos on YouTube (below), but don't count on them working anymore, especially with Japan's new monthly pay streaming services kicking in this year.

They started Round One at noon and only 42 players finished it. Maybe that's why so many rogue YT videos survived the evening, but for how long? Here's a sample from the 1st Hole (32 minutes), includes Bae and Jeon:

Momoko Ueda (-2) and Hori Two (-1 thru 14)

Another poor round by Yui Kawamoto, made bogey on the last three holes. I think right now it's a little mental for how she finishes rounds. She probably realize that and is working on it.

Exactly 50 players made the cut at +3. The Round One rogue video I posted earlier is gone, but there are new ones for Round Two.
OFFICIAL highlight reel from Round Two, includes hole-out and flag-hit from Minami Katsu:

Another great round for Kotone Hori to take the lead,
Another missed cut by Yui Kawamoto. She had twenty seven putts so she must hit a lot of bad shots. She had one putts on three of her bogeys.

The LIVE stream is working perfectly ... Someone I never heard of before, Kotoko Uchida, went crazy, going 7-under on her first 14 holes ... then butchered #15 (par-4 270 yards) ... OB, re-tee, airmailed green, long on a pitch and made L-R putt for a six, now trails Hori Two by one shot (who just rapped in a 3-4 footer for par at #14).
Serena Aoki's Binder Brigade is here.

They timed it almost correctly ... the TV Asahi broadcast cut out at 3:20 PM (Japan time) just as the last group was getting ready to putt at #18. Hori Two was up by one and it stayed that way.

Hori One and Two
Japan's Mr. Chinstrap looked familiar to me ... I confirmed that he is Masanori Omizo, who was on Satoshi Kodaira's bag when he won at Hilton Head in 2018 ... this was his 32nd win on men's and women's tours in Japan and the U.S.
Kotoko Uchida ... is 'Three Stripe' is a new moniker for Adidas apparel?

Team Yokomine
Asuka Ishikawa (+1, aced #17 on Sunday) and Haruka Morita
Rumi Yoshiba

Bo Mee Lee (-1)
The Unknown Korean (+3) is now a regular on the big tour ... has MC, T-12 and T-45 in her first three starts of 2022.

Weird that their network TV coverage never goes over the alloted time slot, even by a minute. What were they showing at exactly 3:20pm that was so important?

Congratulation to Kotone Hori for the great win. She made only two bogeys the entire Tournament.
Just over two or three years ago she was fighting her way off the Step up Tour.
