Jung Min Lee made a stop at SBS Golf Academy in January ... interesting stuff if you believe the accuracy of the launch monitor stats for three driver swings above:
Carry (yards) Total Distance Backspin (rpm) Launch angle Sidespin (rpm) Ball Speed (MPH)
250 266 1464 12.9* 730 (left) 157
258 271 2254 13.7* 49 (left) 156

We're told high spin rate with the driver is bad, but launch angle trumps that for max distance ... she taps the gadget at 4:38 to raise the tee before her third drive. One of the women on the show is ex-KLPGAer Dana Kim ... I don't know the other in red (did she have some work done?  )
I watched some of Lee's practice and souvenir shopping at Lancaster in 2015 ... I hope she comes back in 2024.  |
